Rochester is a good show. I've always thought security was a little relaxed there. It's March 31st and April 1st at the Dome Arena. Corner Rt. 15A and Calkins Road in Henrietta.Doors open at 9 am both days. It always was a good show to find Military Arms and parts. I'll probably be going, wth.

Well on the rear sight bracket. Cheap was your word. You could score a Mosin Nagant Scout Mount and modify it to replace your rear sight.

I tried fixing a Century built FAL recently. Best I can say is it functions. Centrury had GLUED the gas tube into the gasblock instead of pining it like it should have been. Come to find out..... there was a reason. The parts used to build it were worn out, and the system is a leaky bastard. Alot of the recievers (non-Imbel marked) have bad feed ramps that were machined to low. The one rifle I worked on had feed ramps that sat below the lip of the inserted mag. Slight feeding issues to say the least. You get what you pay for. In most cases.

I got this chest rig also I made; I kinda copied a Chinese, but made it to hold 6- 30 RD mags. Bungie keepers, velcro pouch on the right and a pocket with gear loops on the left.

It had one big 2" clip on the front, I sewed the 2 smaller 1" clips on the front

I bought that vest years ago from centerfiresystems. had it for 3-4 years before I sold it to you bomb. you've owned it for atleast 3 years now. So knowing them, Made in China it is a nice vest. but I upgraded. sold it to you when you got Barry built.

Embrace the scratch. It's like a badge, inherent to the AK family. I've seen a few tricks, from bending the safty lever out alittle. File the stamped dot down a lttle. Tie mono fishing line around it. Bla bla bla. You can alleviate it but it will still wear some.

Well, I told Nailbomb I wasn't gonna do this, but for my 800th post, why not. I gave him the option to buy it, but he went with a deal on some ammo instead. So I said "F it" and bought it. I dont feel to bad for $250 for a Beretta 1200 FP with a 1.5 to 5 power scope on it. Hell all I did was go there to say HI and get my dealer to fax a copy of his FFL to a guy I bought a rifle off GB. Oh well, add another shotty to the mix is all.

where were you this morning? Was at my dealer's shop, he just got in, must have been 50 scopes of every type. Coulda scored you something nice on the cheap. If nothing else pops up here, I'll be back there next week picking up a rifle and I can get you something.
