We have been working a with a local company that specializes in injection molding gun stocks. We got involved with them after they had started their Saiga 6 position stock that reduces approx. 40% of the felt recoil so we have NO claim to ownership (unfortunately). It is a great stock and we got word that we will have them in stock around the 20th of June. We are preselling them on our web site, here is the link My link Scott Here is the full description: Designed specifically for all Saiga shotguns and rifles to give you increased ergonomics and weapon control. AK47/74 Triangular Left-Side Folding Stock W/ Hardware
dph arms replied to Moe Zambeak's topic in Saiga 7.62 X 39
Here....let me clear the air for you guys.....I am not going into details but here is the high level: First off, let me say.....this set as a stand alone set is a great product. We have had some reports of pieces not being "military spec" but we know that and have been trying to address these issues. There has been no reported "funtional issues" to date and I dont expect that there will be any. If we thought they were going to fail in any way, we would not put them back on the site. We had a "major" builder in the industry build one up and shoot well over 500 rounds in a full auto AK, he r -
dph - Anyone spoken to or heard from them lately?

Sorry to have been hard to get up with. I have had a ton of stuff going on, we are moving houses and our warehouse all at once. On top of that my mom had surgery and I have been tied up with that. Again, I appologize for that. As for the clip for the saiga's, we have redesigned them so that they will hold a compensator and a flash hider. we are making it a 2 piece design that is wire EDM cut after it is manufactured. We have finally got the tooling made to hold them while the EDM cuts them. I know it has been a long time getting this one back on the market but I didnt want to put it out u -

Question on DPH Stock
dph arms replied to Donkismash's topic in General Discussion - Any topic is welcome here!!!
If you use just the internal block to mount it to, it will sit flush with the receiver. If you use the folding hinge, it will sit off the receiver by about an inch. Scott -
DHP AK74 clip muzzle brake - Potential issue
dph arms replied to BuzzKillin's topic in Saiga 7.62 X 39
Ok, we have had 3 clips to fail so far on the muzzle brakes.. There is no issue with the flash hiders. We are going to redesign the brake mounting clip so we are asking everyone to NOT use the muzzle brakes with the clips. We are not sure if it is a clip problem or if it is an installation problem (I'm not blaming guys who have put them on). What I mean by that is there may be some inherent stress applied to the clip when it is tightened down. We had rather be on the safe side and do some due diligence on these. We will take care of anyone who has bought one so far. I'll keep everyone updated -

DHP AK74 clip muzzle brake - Potential issue
dph arms replied to BuzzKillin's topic in Saiga 7.62 X 39
Hi Scott, and thank you for your speedy reply. Yes, I would very much like to try again with a new clip, and although I don't want to exactly be a crash test dummy (I'm sure we could find those ), I would be more than happy to give it another shot using your instructions. My only word of advise would be to include a one page sheet with the brakes, with your installation instructions and maybe some best practices as far as checking alignment. There are a lot of relatively careless non-mechanically minded people out there, and someone could potentially get injured. Should I call your office, o -

DHP AK74 clip muzzle brake - Potential issue
dph arms replied to BuzzKillin's topic in Saiga 7.62 X 39
I just saw this..... BuzzKill, sorry for the prblem, we will take care of it. Let us know if you need a new clip or if you need a refund. We had BETA testing done on these for several months because we wanted to ensure that we were putting out the best product that we could. We found several things along the way that we made improvements on. We started out with the flash hiders because the pressures on them are significantly lower. On the brakes, the first ones did not have a way to time them onto the bbl. We assumed that people would use loctite (our mistake) guys were overtightening -

Has anyone tried the new DPH Arms clip on BRAKE?
dph arms replied to Sharker524's topic in Saiga 7.62 X 39
I absolutely agree with you, that is why we used threads, set screws and a built in crush washer. Do you have one of these? The set screws are a secondary means of timing the brake ONLY. The brake has a crush washer built into it so you tighten it up to the crush washer then continue turning it onto the THREDED CLIP until it is timed correctly. The set screws are put into the brake so that they tighten up against the bbl to ensure that it doesnt back off of the threaded clip. The set screws see absolutly no "pulling force" therefore there is not way to get a "shitty mounting job". If the b -
Has anyone tried the new DPH Arms clip on BRAKE?
dph arms replied to Sharker524's topic in Saiga 7.62 X 39
We had several beta testers as well as ourselves, the brake performed equally as effective as a standard 74 brake. We didnt receive any negative feedback on the function of the brake. Scott -
Thanks for the kind words guys.....as for the weight, I can put one on the scale tomorrow. If my memory hasnt failed me I believe they are around .6lbs. Scott

The shop had a few laying around from the last run, I have one in hand so call us with your info or pm me here and we will get it out to you. As for answering emails..... I am damned either way, I can ask you to call in or I can get to the emails as fast as possible which means that it may be a week or so before I get back to you. It isnt very often that a pm goes unanswered for very long so that is the second best way to get us. If you call and leave a message on the answering machine, we will get back to you as well. Now to cover the Russian flash hider issue. This IS a known issue.

May be just the way they are but we are working on a new design that should take out the wobble. Scott
