  1. On the Saiga with BHO the spring has one leg bend wider than the other and from the pic, this one has both side the same. Any trouble on Saiga with BHO?
  2. 1. Your earring will get permanently damaged. It has nothing to do with your perception of the sound or whether it bothers you or not. You could later have a permanent ring tone in your ears and that's no joke. 2. There is no excuse for pointing a gun at someone else on a firing line. None! Period! 3. An accidental discharge is the best way to wipe the smile off someone's face... And a flinch of the finger is all it takes... Please, be smart... For yourself and for others... And by the way... It is not "safety shit", it is being responsible. If you cannot understand this, you should no
  3. I hear ya, i wish i did own an AR but its only for work. I dont know how true it is, but Ive HEARD that recent reports are saying that the .223 isn't very effective in close quarters or long range and thats why they're making the 6.8??... How true is this? In close quarters, you need to disable your oponent in the shortest time possible. The .223 is not very effective at doing this. At long range, it doesn't fragment so it is not very effective for that either. This is typical for a military round. They are primarily designed to wound as opposed to hunting rounds which are designed to
  4. If you are talking of a Doom Day / End Of The World rifle then a cheap semi-auto AK will do just fine. Make sure you get a reliable pistol with a cheap Uncle Mike nylon holster and a Saiga 12 with an assortment of ammo. This will be plenty enough to defend yourself against the first attackers. By then, you'll be able to choose and pick your rifle of choice, ammo and other gear from the dead bodies. Common sense will prevail and carrying a nice and expensive rifle can make you a prime target as well...
  5. Go the the Federal Wal-Mart value pack instead. Same price and much better ammo than Winchester. Most users report FTE with the Winchester while the Federal work fine in their S-12
  6. Received #4310 today... drums, plugs, springs... Want some?
  7. ATI folder and telescopic stock are pretty nice and US made. I'll post some pics in a few days.

    Buffer idea

I use Black Jack buffers in one Saiga 12 and one WASR-10/63. No problem with either of them.
  9. You can make plastic sabots somehow, somewhere? Drill and cut a plastic wad. It is only guide for the dart to get out of the barrel. Use a solid wad between this and the powder. Me? I would just use the AP missile ammo for 12 gauge or insert a flechette in a 7/8 oz slug.
  10. Do a search, the answer was posted here before.
  11. This cop killing bullet thing is pure non-sense and a democratic fart of someone brain. Any bullet can kill a cop and AP ammo are AP ammo, not some cop killing evil ammo. There are already some 12 gauge AP slugs on the market today and AP slugs are fairly easy to make. You just need an aerodynamic hard core traveling at great velocity. Something like a tungsten dart in a three parts plastic sabot will do the trick quite nicely. If you are lazy, you can look in the arrow head department and make a plastic sabot for what you like.
  12. You would be amazed what a flashlight can do for you... or against you... It is my primary defense weapon where I can't conceal carry and it's in my hand when I walk the streets at night.
  13. Because out of every 1,000,000 Glocks produced there are two that are out of spec. The two people who get them rather bitch and moan about it instead of just getting rid of it and buying something else. All the other whiners are just not very good and blame their equipment. I have shot IDPA matches quite regularly (not as much now) and have seen my share of gun issues. Like any other brand, Glock's are not perfect and I have seen and know many shooters who had issues with them. A member of this forum asked about the Glock's and I don't feel like a whiner by reporting my per
  14. If you have $1k+ in a non-modded saiga you got F**KEd hard, and it seems so since no reputable shop modding shotguns would put out a gun without checking it +1 Something doesn't add up here... Where did you get your gun from?
  15. Just received shipping notice for order EV-4310
  16. Why would you import a product which was exported in the first place? They look like Wraithmakers and they were either made under license or exported by the goonies to be distributed in Europe.
  17. I would not venture to say that Glock's are crap nor do I believe it. On the other hand, quite a few LE departments are reconsidering them and are making the switch to different brands of side arms. When I went to the range the other day to sight in my WASR, I took my HAMMR rest to check the new sights I put on my G-34 (Warren, Sevigny style). Like both the factory and the XS sights I had on it before, I had to push the rear sight all the way to the right for the gun to shoot at point of aim. I am not the first one to report that Glock's often shoot left of point of aim. Some s
  18. Devil advocate: - What if the wood comes from Russia? I have a nice piece of Russian wood and want to carve a stock and hand guard from it. - What if the Russian piece of wood has already been shaped in the form of a stock but I want to carve a different shape? - What if the Russian piece of wood is a stock and I want to sand (which will change its shape) and refinish it?
  19. Went to the range the other day to sight in a 4x32 scope on my WASR-10/63. I could blow off some 3" rocks at 100 yards without much difficulties (Brown Bear ammo) and was able to hit a 8" steel plate every time with iron sights at the same distance. With the iron sights setting from factory, I had to aim one width of front post to the left to hit center of plate and elevation was just right on the 100 yards leaf setting. Not bad for an AK-47 I would say... Being able to make a head shot at 100 yards with iron sights is good enough for me.
  20. Order #4310 updated to paid. Remember that Mike is sending multiple orders with your first order so later numbers will ship quicker and quicker...
  21. On my 4 holes S-12 the first setting the plug locks in is #2 and on my 3 holes S-12 it is setting #1 So, yes, it varies from gun to gun
  22. I don't see a drum, just a POS back plate, I love these guys, now thats the way to do business! Hey I'm making a mini-drum, anyone here want too buy the feed lips off this baby??????????????? Do they qualify as a drum in case of a ban so I could buy the rest later?
  23. If you are not in a hurry (long shipping), you can get a good one on ebay from a vendor based in Hong-kong for about $50. Though, there is two important things everyone must understand: 1. A good green laser will give your position at night as soon as you turn it on (visible ray) 2. The reflection on a shiny object or mirror from a powerful green laser (>25mW) can and likely will permanently damage your retina (reason why I won't scratch the hitch).
  24. #1 Buckshoot is the best choice. Get the regular 16 pellets 2" 3/4 hull. The pellets go faster, group better and less recoil.
