I have a full box (25) of paper hull, 10 ga, blank rounds, if interested. Believe they are Winchester Super X. Never fired I don't have a use for them. Macbeau... Update: These are 2 7/8" ' paper hull, Winchester Ranger. What I would call "low brass" for a 10ga. Full box of 25. Never fired.

Memorial Day is Not Veteran's Day

I'll be whippin' out the Band of Brothers series. Veterans day honors those who went to war and came home. Memorial day honors those who went to war and didn't. Macbeau... -

Just remember EVERY war and battle, up thru Vietnam, was fought with corrosive ammo. And it never determined who won or lost... Corrosive also never ruined a weapon that was maintained by it's owner who cared about it. That includes not only AK-47's, and Dragonov's, but Mosin Nagant's, Tokerev's, Makerov's, Mauser's, SMLE's, 1911's, M1 Garand's and M1 carbines as well. Soap and water is a helluva corrosive ammo solvent / cleaner. Having shot black powder (DuPont and GOEX; not the "substitute" crap) for over 40 years, warm water and Dawn figure prominently in my cleaning routine... -

The UN is nothing more than "Community Organizers" on a multi-national level. They ARE NOT capable of effective military action on ANY level. The UN in a "peacekeeping" scenario is what happens when dreams and fairytales meet reality. NO American troop should ever be obligated to participate in ANYTHING that the UN has it's hands on.

You'll probably see Norinco and PolyTech flood back onto the market long before Izhmesh, Kalashnikov or Tula again. I don't foresee any of them coming back anytime soon. The anti gun crowd has figured out that if they can't ban them through legislation, they can fundamentally ban them via importation. -

It doesn't like bullets under 130 grains. I think they used a 1:10 rifling pitch (from their .308 version), though it has a .311 bore. I finally got it to group by handloading 150gn Speer's an Sierra's at about 3" to 4" at 100 yds using iron sights. Then I discovered Wolf and Tula 154gn SP. It loved that so I bought a case and only use it in that rifle. The factory 10 round mags work fine, but I have had to had select 20 and 30 round steel mags because of the feed lip issue.. It really does NOT like polymer mags. If it weren't for the weight, it being finiky about mags and if shot 122g -

I have an AIA (Australia International Arm"s) M10-A2 that was bought new in 2003, and I inherited in 2005, and. yes - they were imported. (see rifle above). But only about 200 came in to the U.S. and they were supposed to be dealer samples / demo guns only. Mar-Star sold them in Canada in 7.62x39 and .308.... I see one show up occasionally on auction sites. Importation was halted when it was revealed that some of the "parts" may have been made in Vietnam. Basically, It's an Enfield No.4 Mk3 barreled for 7.62x38 and bottom Iron to take an AK mag. Drums won't fit and they are finicky about lin -

You have the RIA 1911A1 CS. The RIA1811A1CS Tactical is the one I have pictured above. The big difference is the sights and trigger. Mine has the Novak-type, dovetailed, front and rear sight and skeleton trigger. The plain CS has regular trigger and sights. Both have stainless spring guide and bushingless bull barrel, lowered and ported ejection port. Commander hammer, beavertail grip safety with speed bump, flat mainspring housing, radiused slide, extended thumb safety and 8 round ACT-MAG. Macbeau.... -
