  1. That bolt looks real nice and shinny . I can load a full stick mag with the bolt closed on my S-12 right out of the box. Was you not able to load a full mag? Got a good pic installed?
  2. Dupli 500 is nowhere close to matching the stock coat. I have bought 4 or 5 cans of spray trying to match and the one that I got that was the best looking match for me was KRYLON satin black indoor outdoor.

I would not call it an investment , for me
  4. He's wants to know how to mount fiber optic sights like Truglo. I don't use fiber optics because they don't work at night. I have krebs sights with XS 24/7 night sights ar-15 post.
  5. My story is as simple as first grade math. A young woman's body found in a dumpster 1 block from my house + Alot of home invasions in my area= A gun that spits lots of lead. Searched for usas12 found out real quick I was not going to get that. Found the S12 and fell in love.
  6. A few ? How does this magwell mount to the gun? Do I need to mod the receiver for the magwell to work? Is it possable to mod this magwell for quick release to run the MD20? Can any stick mag be modded to work with this magwell?
  7. Any news on the SGM chokes?
  8. Drill a dimple where the scatch is ,in the middle of the S. It will help stop the over travel.
  9. The majority of the gun community says springs don't weaken by resting in either their compressed or extended state. They weaken through the act of cycling from extended to compressed / compressed to extended. There are polls here, on Glock talk, on Sig forum and probably several other forums. The runaway vote is always: Store your mags loaded or unloaded, and only cycle the springs when you need to. got it. Thanks much guys. It is my professional opinion (I am a chemical engineer) that mags are going to wear out pretty much regardless of what you do. Polymers flow over
  10. Why can't you shoot buckshot with chokes? On every pack of buckshot I own it says may be used with any choke for best results use full choke.
  11. Gunfixr quote The old instructions were actually for the plugs that I was making individually. The new ones now being made by MD Arms are very similar, but do not have the "0" setting. Instead, they have a -1 and a +1 setting. The same thing applies. Just run it in until it bottoms out, and then back it out until you get to -1. This should be less than a complete turn. You then use it from the -1 to 3 settings. http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showto...30&start=30
  12. No it is not good, says the book that came with your gun. The hammer should be released to prevent the mainspring from residual strain. So if your bolt is back your hammer is not released.
  13. Screw your plug all the way in, then back it out to -1 that is your first setting. You will back it out more to get to +1,2,3. But once you hit 3 and need to go to +1 you need to screw it back in.
  14. I carry mine in a WOODLAND MOLLE II SUSTAINMENT POUCH GI ISSUE USA MADE, I got from my local army navy store they are $6 the strap for it is a few bucks more . In one I can hold a MD 20 drum and 4 10rd mags and 1 5rd under the drum. Or they can hold seven 10rd mags. It can also fit two 100 rd value packs of ammo nice and tight in one . This ebay store is my local army navy and where I got mine. http://cgi.ebay.com/WOODLAND-MOLLE-II-SUST...1742.m153.l1262
  15. I wanted the fein but for me a contractor, getting fein blades was going to be a pain when you need one today, so I got the dremel. Blades for the dremel are cheaper then the fein. I have use mine all the time and it has never failed on me yet. Don't force the work, let the blade do all the work. And yes don't leave it anywhere I'am still looking for about 10 new blades that just got up and walk away.
  16. Here's a pic. What nobody got a cleaning rod on their shotgun?
  17. Does anybody know of any forearms that have a hole for the cleaning rod? Are a front bracket for the cleaning rod for the barrel of a S12? I just drilled a hole in my stock forearm and need a front bracket to hold the the rod up front. Someting like this but for a shotgun barrel. And I'am also looking for a short cleaning rod, I cut mine down but I need to get it welded. But would rather have a new shorter rod.
  18. Cabelas site to store pick up is the best I have found, thats if you live close to a cabelas. It's worth the wait unless you have no ammo.
  19. I took my drum out today for the first time and for the first 40rounds mine did the same thing. The last 5 or 6 work the the other 15 every round failed to eject, So I tried what I read on this site the other day and put 19 rds in and pushed up and down a bunch of times. After that my drum ran perfect. Grab up some cheap ammo and break it in.
  20. I know this is not what you are looking for but XS sights are well worth the money. They have 3 types std dot,big dot and strip all with tritium for the AK, they sell a front/rear sight combo and they come with the drum. I really like them and very soon I will have XS sights on all my guns.
  21. Sending mine to Patriot12's USA made saiga 12 research and development team to be cloned.
  22. Are you could dump the polychoke and just make your own chokes with your own design tip all in one and sell them they would cost less then the poly/tip combo.I'am waiting for SGM's chokes to be released, choke/the pro brake combo in one for around $45 each. Most people don't need 10 chokes or even 5. Me I only need 1 maybe 2 depending on the gun and what I'am shooting. Basicly if you can supply good chokes with badass tips in one for a around 45-75 bucks you can't go wrong. Now if the same MFG's who make muzzel breaks now ,ad a choked version of there brake's i bet they would sell too.
  23. I watched this G4 show and both saiga's were not converted they were stock with high cap mags. I know they are preparing for the end but untill then they need to follow the laws like most of us. I really dont care what people do in there homes and on there property. But don't go on TV breaking the law these hillbilly nerds need to hop on the net and read some 922 laws.
