  1. Nice, now get some tires studded up for it so you can ride it some more up there!
  2. Happy Birthday! One more day and you would have shared it with the USMC birthday!
  3. I have personally videotaped Bald Eagles taking trout while fly fishing on the Missouri River in Montana. Big birds, lock up the cats and lapdogs is an understatement.
  4. Always, always, take care of your troops! I was the guy who put my neck on the chopping block all the time for my team. If your baby was ugly, I didn't care if you were an O-6, I told you your baby was fucking ugly. My O-6 trusted me more as an E-7 because of that fact more than the the E-9s in the unit who would rather sugar coat Intel and try to stroke the Commander's cock. Plus the fact I had 55 pipe hitters under my control as Operators and all the E-9s were equal to me in the Org Chart but all of their personnel were support troops. Find your niche, kick ass at everything that you do
  5. Looks good especially since you can replace the blade with a sharp one in the field.
  6. I have really only read of this other than here on what I classify as "tinfoil hat" sites. Where has this story been posted that is more mainstream/legitimate? I know, I know...mainstream media...
  7. That's how the PPSH "pistols" are being imported. Over folder is pinned or welded or something in the closed position, making the most awkward pistol ever since the tec-9 The actual stock release button on the actual PPS, not PPSH (different animal) protrudes through the top cover and the hole in the top cover is the same size as the button to allow it to be pressed in enough to release the stock. On the imported pistols, at least my PPS-43C, the button protrudes farther and the head is larger to prevent such movement to release the stock. The release button/pin is internally tack welded t
  8. Good one! I was on a Mil to Mil exchange with the Romanian Army years ago. We were out partying with some of our counterparts and one suggested we try some wine back at the hotel from his family's vineyard which was local. We go to his room and nobody had a corkscrew. One guy proceeded to wrap the bottle in a towel to protect the glass, then beat the bottom of the bottle on a brick wall until the cork popped enough to grip it and remove it. Learning occured at that time for myself and stowed away for future emergencies.
  9. Bought a used Gen 2 Kobra and the damn rotary power switch broke and fell off while firing to zero. Anyone know where you can get parts or have a fix via some Radio Shack parts and a soldering iron?
  10. I bought a used Gen 2 Kobra from this forum and the damed power switch knob fell off the first time I actually fired it to zero it on a x39mm. It must have been broken already and barely hanging on. Be careful with that rotary switch! I am still researching a fix to this Russian POS. Mepros are good to go in my book, have a couple.
  11. Don't take it personally, Cobra! I think we all enjoyed (I certainly did) seeing them again, or for the first time for some. In response to your original question.... Do you want a functioning firearm at the end of it? If not... My Tigersaw and some Scotch tape will beat the fuck out of all those kids!!! I didn't intend to get anyone's panties bunched up. I simply stated I have seen them before and still was cool to see again. I am pretty sure I did not see them on this forum though.
  12. From the Military side... Send a troop to supply for chemlight batteries. Send them to Airfield Ops for 500' of flightline. Send them to the Aviation guys for a bucket of prop wash. Back in the day when they painted water towers on Military installations with an orange and white checkerboard pattern, send a guy to get THAT checkerboard paint. I'm sure I'll think of more. Hopefully someone else chimes in with more.
  13. I doubt that old Dodge had much of neither. I'm surprised those skinny tires even got traction. That Porsche SUV would probably have on board technology to provide power to the wheels that need it to push it through the soft stuff.
