  1. Pretty sure I have a bumper sticker around here someplace that says "Wood is the answer" I'll have to see if I can find it so you can put it on the bumper
  2. If you're outside of the house you have to try to retreat in some shape or form. The use of deadly force is a last resort in the eyes of the law and "leaves you no other option" unfortunately can be interpreted by legal types multitude of different ways.
  3. Call all the BS you want, when I used to work in a "mom and pop" kfc we got our chicken from the local plant frozen on ice in waxed corrugated. So yes it can go in a cardboard box, not saying you'll want to eat it if you saw it but people lined up coming out of the fryer.

    Just got her

Unless its a true 12-C, or your not in the US all of our guns started in the sporterized form and not one of us picked up the gun and knew everything about it. That and the only person you have to impress is yourself, so make it the way you want it.
  5. I <3 my RPK, so if I had the chance to get another 7.62x39 you can bet it would be a 20" gun.
  6. I'm thinking you should hook up with some of the crazy swedes from the forum, ya know see what they can get over there and we can't here. That's if any of them take ya up on the offer.
  7. just glad to hear you didn't ram a 16 gauge up in the barrel and then fire off a 12 gauge....or maybe that is 20 gauges that works with I can't remember now.
  8. There is a reason it says on the label "shoot at 100yds" It is something you can just buy, it may or maynot be legal where you are though. As for the 12 gauge slug? I don't know I haven't hit any with anything less than a .223, the original video for mixing instructions shot the bottles with various pistol calibers (through pistols and carbines) and the mixture did not go off.
  9. S-17 at Bear Paw? If so you won't want it because I've drooled on it, kinda like that VW commercial where the guy licks the door handle "claiming" the car.
  10. Shannon my car would scare you with the amount of rust....guess I shouldn't drive it to work plowing snow as I go Penetrating oil, heat, more oil, repeat till free (just don't beat the hell outta it)
  11. AA is kinda taboo around here anymore, Alliance Armament If you search the forum you might find why, they used to be business members here and things went south.
  12. I put down collecting and investment on mine and it was accepted
  13. More info will be coming very soon. No those parts are Russian made. Just wait for the info.... You've been here long enough to know that "wait" is something you'll be pestered about till your hands fall off from typing "wait"...just ask Mike

    Opinions

That and you might have someone local to you that could be available to help you along the way. Ultimately the choice is yours but with the amount of bolt on parts available and the resources here its easier than ever.
  15. The Saiga, is not an assault weapon... Even if it were, it wasn't around back then anyway... But there was some 12-c's imported for Law Enforcement Only before the ban sunseted in 2001. They turn up time to time but you pay big bucks for them, they came with a Russian 8rd mag with "Law enforcement only" etched into it
  16. Naw its worthless, send it up here and I'll take care of it for ya
  17. Porting on a "nightstand" weapon, low light situation now you're going to flare up more? Well its ok just put a "tactical" laser on it and shoot with your eyes closed
  18. I see they went for the "reliability service" brand for mags
  19. Well tell that little guy to stop printing the Shotgun News Ad upside down !
  20. You can find it on GB...... 275 rds for $85? I think my problem is I was buying it 440 rds for $30 and I'm out of that now
