  1. Not really. There have been a ton of reports of GT failures. I've had 2 out of one case and still have 5-600 left in that case. There was a big thread on the AK files about all the reported failures.
  2. https://youtu.be/8y06NSBBRtY Only difference is that it's not new anymore, now it's deeply rooted.
  3. They are super nice pistols. EAA sucks ass as far as customer service goes. Factory mags aren't hard to find for them though, I know midway carries them. I'll try and find the website with all the custom parts. I know there was aluminum grips on there.
  4. I own a Stock 3 in 45. Not sure if they take CZ97 mags? If I was looking for custom parts, I'd be looking at stuff from Eric Grauffel. He is the face of Tanfoglio in competition and has a custom line of parts.
  5. Could always do a MagTac lower. Strength of aluminum and lower weight of polymer. Good trade off. I've used two for builds and have no complaints on them other than the proprietary FCG pins.
  6. That's cool. I know nothing about Uzi's except the original Terminator requested one in 9mm at the gun shop. Is that a functional butt stock that collapses or folds in, or something else?
  7. Yup super easy to build one. Like converting a Saiga ....easy. you'll get what you want in the end and its cheap to do. I agree hunting for the best deals is part of the lure too.
  8. Finished my 9mm AR finally, made a few changes from the first picture.... PSA Colt lower Magpul SLK stock Magpul SL grip KVP 9mm bolt Anderson lightweight A3 upper (no dust cover or forward assist) Faxon 16" Gov't profile 9mm barrel Wilson Combat Q-comp ALG EMR V2 handguard Aimpoint PRO in an ADM QD mount 12 or so PSA colt stick mags Debating putting iron sights on it. Besides Glock what mag options are available to do a dedicated .45acp AR build?
  9. Look into if the licensed Colt models (the ones with the funky Colt roll mark on the lower receiver) have properly marked barrels.
  10. That is pretty cool. I'm not a big fan of .410 (relatively expensive for what you get) but that could be a good way to get the woman into a shotgun. And then I get to play with it too. Is it gas operated? Standard AR15 FCG?
  11. We should definitely forfeit our rights for the security of knowing that potential threat has been diminished.
  12. Let the homies on the Saiga12forum have first crack at the goods. My crystal ball says this poll will be revived randomly over the next 5yrs.
  13. It's an older gun and a lot of the older 22's had 2 ports. So it's anybody's guess.
  14. Fenix stuff is nice. I have a headlamp I use for work, that takes an 18650 and that SoB is bright!
  15. Yup.only difference is LRBHO but that won't effect the conversion process.

Use your head..... Not to tap the screwdriver of course.
  17. At least you have walls. I build powerlines and when it's windy like today, it can be miserable!! Today it's 18mph winds, 10°(feels like -5) and open fields. Take the good with the bad.
  18. Cut it..... Cut it...... Cut it...... Cut it
