Go to Izhmash.ru and there is a link about them filing for bankruptcy. They filed on there machine plant I.E. Mills, Lathes, and CNC machines. Not the guns the writer of the story linked to by the OP is a dumb ass, Izhmash has there hands in lots of things besides weapons the did at one time make cars, mills, lathes, gas meters, and some other house hold goods. they are the GE of russia.

I have two 107's I paid $1500 for the pair 14 months ago BUT they are a consectutive numbered set I got from Mike D. -
As short as you want as long as you do the proper gas work. The russian SBS version is 330mm (12.9") I would not go any shorter than that, JMO

I know it is not what you are really looking for but I have a '93 Pre-Ban Norinco MAK-90 in 7.62X39 I am putting up for sale soon I would give you first shot at it. I want it to go to a ban state just to put it to the state. Althought I do have two SAR 2's I am not really looking to sell them yet but if I do I will give you a PM and first shot. Good luck I will see what I can find for you on some of the other forums.. -

Yep WV is a cash and carry state no wait periods but for the last 5 years I get delayed 80% of the time the other 20% they go to a futher review and I am approved. In PA I bought a rifle and got DENIED so I had to file a challege letter with the PA state police 4 weeks later I got approved and from now on anything I buy in PA I have to show them a copy of the letter and they enter the serial number on it and I am good to go. My dad is 62 and got delayed for the first time last week and he is picking his new gun up tomorow, so yep something is going on with the ATF. -
Without moving the gas block I still feel the shortest you should go is 12.9" (330mm) that is what the length is on the Saiga 12's used by the russian military and PD. By going this short and not moving the gas block it is hard on the gun and you will need to run ONLY high power loads and gas the gun correctly if you open up the ports to allow you to shoot the wal-mart cheap stuff and then you want to shoot the high power loads they will beat the hell out of your gun. There are alot of pages in the NFA or Tromix section about this so get to reading.

Yep we were talking about my His/hers project so there will two more like yours by the end of the year the only differance is I am using a polymer AK-100 stock with a recoil pad and YES mine will be blue like yours and hers will be using a SVDS stock. You got good taste and if you want save me the trouble you can just send me your gun I won't mine. LOL

Nothing like bring a thread back from the dead But I wanted to show off my 2 new kickass scores the first is a saiga .410 10rd "window" mag and the other is a rare saiga gasplug laser. I was happy today I love finding those hard to find items it make me feel that all my online ku-fu was worth the training.

They are rare Tony Rumore onwer of Tromix has one that he took all the covers off of and made look like a AK-47 and your gun is rare and worth alot more that the origanal asking price of $400 in time that gun will only be worth more the 30.06 Valmets are $4000 if you can find one The only thing that would screw you is if they start importing them in again the first 50 did not sell quick that is why there is only the 50 or so. But people have been requesting them and in the next year or two it may happen, they finially started bring in the 7.62X54 after enough call and e-mails so anything is po

The last one I saw 3 years ago on Gunbroker went for $1250 for the 30.06 the .308's go for around $800. Do you have one you want to sell or are you looking for one?

I don't have a saiga 7.62X39 but I do have a Norinco '93 MAK 90 7.62X39 plus some cash, if Mullet doesn't buy it and you are intersted let me know I don't want to step on mullets toes since he asked about buying it first. -
OV is a big area I live in Wellsburg 20 miles north of Wheeling WV (I-70) on the river
-
Nope they are .223 and are polish made with the ramdon stamp on the receiver.
-
Just be careful in what you do the saigas are tempermental and what ever you do may effect the cycling of your gun.

If century is only importing the gun it should be OK I have two SAR 2's and they are great I hope these PSP's come from the factory with hi-cap openings if cenrury is opening them up they seam to always go a little far.
