  1. I torture tested my new promag 12rnd drum on the way to the range. I made it listen to Barbara Striesand and Barry Mannilow singing duets. It worked fine but I am still in recovery.
  2. I live in Valdosta GA> and I am a member of the Little River Gun Club( NRA affiliated ). I shoot mine every Sunday and I envite you to be my guest.
  3. Grayson, Ga about 20 min northeast of Atlanta

  4. Does anyone know why the Brits drink warm beer? Lucas Electrics makes their refrigerators. PS- and I still can not keep my Norton 750 from leaking oil out of the headlight.

    Chokes

Help. I have a 19inch barrel that has an improved choke according to the gauge I have. Am I wrong in assuming that a polychoke would only help constricting the barrel further ( with adjusting ) but could never open more than the original improved, I am thinking it would have to be cut back to cylinder bore and then start choke adjustment.
  6. Maybe Kal legistators feel they are the only ones allowed to screw when it comes to guns and their owners. I do not know if you can or can not own a threaded barrel in Kalifornia, I do know that I would not live there for love or money. I have nailed my shoes to GEORGIA clay.
  7. I found a cheap way to go being limited on funds. I bought some FAL mag carriers at a gun show = an almost perfect fit.
  8. I may be wrong in this assumption but hear goes ( pun intended ). I do not think it is possible to increase the noise level with a break, I think it is a matter of directing where the noise is directed. Please correct me if I am wrong.
  9. At my local gunstore in Valdosta GA a person can not buy a shotgun with a pistol grip minus a stock if they are under 21 by BATFE guidelines.
  10. This can be a double edged sword. I got my wife involved in shooting and now when we go to the range she looks at me and says " Is this all the ammo you brought? " after burning through 100 rnds 9mm, 100 rnds M1 Carbine, 50 12 gauge rnds through her coach gun. I mean keeping her supplied in ammo who has money for projects? Be very careful what you wish for because the LAW OF UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES will hit you in the wallet.
  11. 9 out of 10 times no good deed goes un-punished.
  12. I am new to this forum but not to guns and finishes. I have used Aluma HYDE II, Brownells bake on finishes, Rust-o-leum spray cans ( their spray on textured black is amazing but not durable to solvent cleaning) I am a professional industrial/commercial painter and I have used a product that is easy to use, holds up to solvents, acid and just about anything you want to throw at it and is inexpensive when you consider how many firearms you can coat with it. If you have a Sherwin Williams store available to you check out a product called Macropoxy. It is designed for the industrial market. Catwal
  13. After completing my conversion I celebrated with adult beverages and BBQ. I started the fire on my grill with the paper in question. The 3rd testical is not an issue now that I have a 3rd hand to scratch it with, the extra hand also helps me change my mags a whole lot faster. Can't wait for next 3 gun match. PS who needs a night vision scope cheap? I have no use for it now that I can see in total darkness.
