  1. Just in case you don't know what a coyote looks like. Pretty good footage. This isn't me. Just a cool youtube vid.
  2. Is what you mean by; "the next round is not resetting the trigger each time", that you must push the trigger forward? Then when you pull it, it fires? If so, then one of the legs of your mainspring (hammer spring) likely walked toward the center of the trigger legs. Likely the BHO side spring leg. This is a VERY common issue. To remedy, simply put a small outward bend in the middle of the offending leg of the mainspring. The very end of the mainspring's legs slipping inward at all, can produce this symptom. The very ends must remain on the trigger legs for leverage. As for
  3. I didn't do exact "degree" measurements when I built my stock so I can't say for sure, but three* is pretty close. The end of the receiver is square with the top of the receiver, not the bottom. The bottom and the top are not parallel. I don't know why you would need to machine the receiver for a typical conversion.
  4. What exactly is "everything else"??
  5. Whenever I order anything on the internet I ALWAYS print out the product ad, order, and order confirmation. That way you have proof after they make changes like they did to you.
  6. You should have asked for prior approval to have a personal package delivered to somebody elses business. That way if they had some type of policy regarding that, you would know right up front if it would be OK. Pressuming that because your former employer was cool with it, that the new employer would be was a little foolish. While not exactly a weapon, they have a total right to know what is being delivered to their property.
  7. After 24 years of smoking I quit 9 years, 2 months, 8 days ago, so I know it can be done. The key is, you have to want to quit smoking more that you want the tobacco. It's not easy. Good luck to anybody that's trying to stop smoking.
  8. I got one for Chistmas. My son and I were out busting clays yesterday. I need to say it makes one hell of a difference for longer range shots. I purposely waited until the clay was starting to fall before shooting and I was still dusting them. I would say 40+ yards. We were using Rem. 7 1/2 bulk Sport Loads from walmart. I set the choke at full to test my lead more than the shot pattern, but I was hitting and the clays were turning into powder.
  9. I am saddened to hear of your loss. You are in my prayers.
  10. Lipstick has been a tool of the gunsmith since it was invented.
  11. Very valid consideration, Classy. That's the way I'm is set for that exact reason.
  12. Well....... According to the worksheets I've seen on this I'm OK.
  13. And just as a comparison..... a REM. 1187 new starts at about $800 on gun genie. Plus you'd have to add to add shipping, FFL fees, and taxes. Just sayin' ETA: The Saiga becomes part of you.
  14. Or 10 rounders for the Gestapo states.
  15. Look at "breaking it in" first before adding another port. Also, use the search function here and look for posts referring to polishing and reprofiling the bolt carrier, bolt and hammer. Most of that is "stickied". It's really not a big deal (doing the work) after reading all the information that's here. Or, there are people here that will do the work for a fee.
  16. I have a couple hundred .38 Special (R-P) nickel plated once fire brass that I'd like to trade for some .45 long colt brass.
  17. You will have fun. That's for sure,

    Noob Question

Actually, I'm thinking flying critters might be a good protien food source in a post apocalyptic world, and that might be the ammo on hand.
