  1. What Razr said... Each airport has it's own taxes, some are higher and some lower, so that could have something to do with it. Also each airline has its own fees. Goodluck. I fortunately fly for virtually free because my girlfriends whole family works for a major airline, sorry to rub it in, so all I normally pay are those taxes, but then I have to fly standby. For $1400 I hope your going somewhere good!
  2. Awesome!! Have fun!! Would you mind sending me a PM with the website if there is one?

    Muzzle Brakes?

This is the one I went with. I havn't noticed a significant reduction in recoil but that's not why I bought it, I'm sure it helps a little
  6. I bought some federal bulk pack #7 1/2 that is 1200 fps it fires fine, also have some Winchester super target #7 that is 1200 fps that also fires fine. I would try it out before complaining about it. Its not all about their rated fps, although it does make a difference.
  7. They have a lifetime workmanship warranty. You won't find that from most major companies these days.
  8. Wow thats awesome!!. Seriously tho if you were at a range in California you would be in jail right now. Damn this state sucks.
  9. Any FFL can ship to a dealer in California, you don't have to pay any sort of fees to do that.
  10. Don't let it get under your skin bro. I know your pain, grew up in San Diego and now live in the Bay Area. I do my best to educate dealers very politely and respectfully, with penal codes, letters form the California Department of Justice, whatever it takes. If they still refuse to sell to Cali than that is their loss. More and more dealers these days are learning that California is a HUGE market for firearms. Calguns is doing a lot to help educate, and i'm sure if your on here you must definitely be familiar with Calguns.net. You can't expect all dealers to go out of their way to keep magazin
  11. I think you would have one fried S12 after a thousand straight rapid fired rounds without allowing it to cool. I bet you could get the barrel and gas system glowing red no prob
  12. Yeah it is a bummer. I like shooting slugs, and I shoot different brands of slugs so I wouldnt want to file down the front sight to zero it in just to have it shooting high or low for the next brand. I'm definitely gunna get the titan rail but I may decide on different sites.
  13. I've shot over 200 rounds straight with the stock gas system and no problemo, I would have kept going but we ran out of clays
  14. I think the gun looks grea. Great camo, is that a custom rail? it looks like the front and rear sight are part of the rail? extended mag release, charging handle, adjustable length folding stock? nice!!
  15. That is sooooo awesome. So what would be your weapon of choice? I'm thinking belt fed 1919a4 I think this may have to be my birthday present to myself (the gun and the chopper trip??)
  16. Seriously, time to take off the gloves and strap on the shit-kicking boots.
  17. Thanks guys!! 7N6Wolf I had to google that haha, great vocab word
  18. Picked her up a little over a week ago. Havn't even gotten to shoot her yet because the weather turned bad before I was gunna take her out on wednesday.

    Combat sights

I would also like to know if there is elevation adjustment. I wanted to pick a set of these up, I just figured that they were adjustable.
  20. Madrone would also be a good choice, I asked about this on calguns also and someone else suggested madrone, I think it's a great idea. Manzanita grows plenty big out here to do the job, with bushes that grow up to 8 feet no problem with probably 10 inch diameter at the base. Madrone on the other hand would be EASY to find a suitable size peice. I like the idea of sending it off to be pressure treated, especially where they inject the plaistic-like material to strengthen it thats a great Idea, I wonder how much it would cost. I am farely capable with wood, and I think it would be a fun project,
  21. How hard would it be with basic tools like saws, files, chisles, drill, etc to make the buttstock and forend? There is really beuatiful manzanita wood around my house that I have been thinking would look AWESOME but i've never tried anything like that before. I can almost gaurentee noone else in California has a Manzanita grain S12
  22. Wow that is a comprehensive response. I wish I was capable of putting something together like that. I can't remember if it was here or on calguns but someone had posted that the NRA's silence was deafening in regards to the study, and I had agreed at the time but I see now that they were just crossing their I's and dotting the T's.
  23. Thanks for the super quick shipping. I got my muzzle break and barrel nut in like 3 1/2 days!! awesome! When I have the cash I will definitely hit you up for some conversion parts for my S12.
  24. Dont you hate when your removing the ductape from the trauma plate you have stuck to your back and you rip out your back hairs? But hey, thats the price you have to pay to protect yourself from multiple .308 shots to the back
