  1. You just have to notch the BHO if you want to be able to take out the safety with out taking out the axis pins.
  2. Damned eskimos are probably ice boarding him right now.
  3. Ya think maybe he should remove his hanguard he put on it first maybe work in reverse before he tears the gas block off and goes cutting away on it? Derrrr...ya think? Guess you missed the part where he said "Ive read a little about the problem and checked the gas ports i only see 1 whole port in the center and another that i can barely see towards the edge closest to the end of the gas tube." Taking off the HG to uncover the pressure relief hole isn't going to make any difference if the ports are blocked by the gas block. And maybe you missed the part where he said "haven

  5. That was almost as bad as Sals home movie of his Uncle giving him a helicopter ride.
  6. Step 1. Start at the pic thread, that should give you an idea of what you can do, then start reading until your eyes begin to bleed, then go back to the pic thread because you've learned some things that may change your mind about what exactly it is you really want out of this gun. Then wash your eyes out and read some more til they fill up with blood again. Then go back to the pic thread find exactly what you want and then finish reading every post on this board until the entire board is clear. Step 2. Order everything you need to complete the build ( mind you it will be nothing you were pl
  7. cool, my guess would be that after the spring breaks in you'll have to tighten it back up if it starts having trouble to feed.
  8. From the end of the receiver to the end of the fattest part of the 1" Ace recoil pad, it's ~11.25". Cool thanks mang!, thats what I thought. I think if I get a new tube and cut mine right this time it'll keep my giant nose outta the hinge and still keep the butt from catching my arm pit..
  9. Looks like it was on a fired gun to me. There is an exaust mark from the gas block port in the first pic.
  10. Is the silver cloth just a shammy?
  11. Yeah isn't that the extra spring they used to move the FCG back farther in the receiver?
  12. It looks badass for sure PA, now that you got it back will you measure the LOP for me? From the end of the receiver to the end of the butt. I've got 10 1/4 if I hook a tape on the hinge an 1/8 more if I hook it on the block, so I'm guessing you have an inch longer LOP. I cut mine and I cut mine and it's still too short.
  13. I would have bound mine in the same way but hit the hole in the receiver with a small dremel bit and made it more 0 rather than o
  14. OMFG it looks like thats where they got all the ideas for their weaponry. The gun looks like theirs and the mags are the same.
  15. I did not know my pointer could move to the X that fast and here I thought he had a sense of humor now I know he just likes gay porn.
  16. Well if the pentagon said so then I'll downgrade to my aluminum foil hat
  17. So you would just pull the trigger first to remove the safety?
  18. What is everyone doing about the safety going too far into the dust cover? As soon as the safety bump passes the edge of the receiver it slips farther til it makes contact with the cover and makes it a bitch to slide back to fire. I figure if I get or make one w/ the larger thumb grip on it it'd be fine. But the saftey still doesn't need to go that far.
  19. Stock weight is 3.6 kg = 7.9 lb chaos tri rail is 10 oz bbl shroud is 8.2 oz wood stock? I'm guessing 9 1/2 lbs.
  20. Yay! Sometimes the interwebs is more than just pron.
  21. I thought of that a while ago for the P-64, but passed... I think I may try it. Thanks for bringing it up. Naked trigger in your pocket, no thanks.
  22. Mine looks the same and if you can get wire all the way through then they aren't blocked and the ports are angled so they aren't pointing towards the threaded part of the gas block.
