  1. The Burris fastfire II does cowitness with the Chaos HK sights. The Chaos sights are adjustable for windage with a set screw and I believe elevation only with a file or maybe replacing the front sight pin that is held in place with a roll pin
  2. I'm using the CSS DIY and it feels solid. I've heard people claim that the DIY type guards are not as strong and maybe they are not but has anybody had a failure??????? just curious really.
  3. The mags were probably made during the Assault Weapon Ban years. During that time most companies were still making high cap mags, they just couldn't sell them to us peons, only the LEO or Military. Nothing wrong with having them now. I had some USP 9c mags that were marked the same, and also have a couple of Colt branded AR mags that are also marked that way. Yep. I have a Bushmaster M-4 made during the ban that is marked law enforcement only.
  4. I'm sure youve already seen this one but it's all I could find.
  5. Hey not bad. It certainly beats the way I carry mine.
  6. That would be a shame. It would be easier to move the trigger and weld the holes than to weld the corner back on the receiver
  7. I hope they import them with a square reciever. Might be a deal breaker for some if they don't.

  9. Beautiful job leland. I just received my 433 and want to do the same but I really don't have the skill for the AK-100 install.
  10. I'm looking for an Izhmash factory black poly pistol grip with the Izhmash mark. Thanks for looking
  11. Does anybody know if the Vepr 12 is going to have that damned slanted reciever. I just never did like thumb hole stocks.
  12. I just pushed the buy button today on a base model (unconverted) IZ-433 from Atlantic. I was wondering if maybe I bought to soon but as has already been pointed out no one knows the future.
  13. Glad to hear you got it back edited for spelling
  14. I had the opposite problem my CSS internal receiver block would not go in far enough to line up the holes. Just the variability from one gun to the next as mentioned above. On a side note it is somewhat irritating that the center of these things are not machined out quite far enough to get at the triger guard mounting screw. I took some material out of the center to remedy this.
  15. Thanks for your time and effort Samal. keep us posted

    Trigger Pull

Get yourself a double hook triger and very slowly cut the notch for the second hook just to the point that the hammer will release. That will give you over travel limit. or get yourself a custom triger from Cobra with an over travel limiter. I can not recomend doing what I did for saftey reasons but I made a small thin plate that is held in place with the forward most screw that secures my CSS triger guard. The plate sits under the hooks and a little bit goes a long way. Also there is a fully adjustable triger available.
  17. I installed an extended mag release and that spring was maybe the toughest part of my conversion though my fat clumsy fingers don't help at all.
  18. Well yes... there is that. +100 Your avatar says "click here if you like the boobs" but when I click it I end up at your profile? LOL I got caught liking boobs... kind of a booby trap
  19. So far about 1200.00 not counting the gun. It's funny.......I would normally balk at the idea spending that kind of money on a gun. But little by little It did not seem like such a big deal. Kind of like boiling a frog I guess
  20. Izmash 8rd rock-n-lock... If I had the cash at the time, I would take atleast three. OK, let me see what I can do. cCrrently, I have 5 molot GK-01 muzzle brakes enroute at $160 shipped to ConUS - all sold out in 1 day, but might bring more According to that and this: http://rub.fx-exchan...ange-rates.html it looks like the 8 rounder rock and lock goes for just under 75.00 USD. So with shipping and the rarity factor I can see why the prices are what they are. Maybe someday I'll bite the bullet and go for one. After all they are hands down the best looking of the sticks. Put m

Put me down for a couple of the 8rnd rock and locks
