    Heads Up

    $599 delivered Saiga 12 with 24" barrel.... http://centerfiresystems.com/saiga_shotguns.aspx
  3. I was denied my CDWL in 1998 for Ky because someone with same name or something in UTAH had not paid a fine. It was from 1967! Got it straight.
  4. I have been known to pull over (legal or not) on the way and 'test fire' anything I bought.
  5. Let's say I have enough. Can cover cases of 26 different calibers.
  6. Under what category? I'm impatient. HehHeh
  7. I usually hear: "Holy crap. Whatchu got NOW"!
  8. Pretty well fixed her. Will clean now. Thanks again.
  9. Spring(s) seems OK. I now think hammer/trigger developed a burr. Oiled real good and ran a file over it. Methinks she'll be fine. I hope. Thanks for info. It does feel a lot more sturdy. Methinks dirt was culprit also. Will test Sunday.
  10. Ahhhhh....I feel good now. I too can assemble AKs all night and had a dickens' of a time with my Saiga.
  11. No trouble with my Saiga 12.....until today. Sigh. Have NOT cleaned since I got it......kinda seeing what will clog. Nothing bad in about 400+ rounds til today. Fires, ejects and chambers just fine. THEN....trigger hangs and won't back off hammer unti I FORCEFULLY kinda "snap" finger from trigger. Only way I know to put it. Oiled the crap outta it and trigger works fine most times. Feels weak though. Question is......is it just getting sluggish from dirt or is trigger spring weak? No problem to clean....just didn't expect this problem. Thanks. I love this thing and she's a keep
  12. I "preordered" one from Mississipi Arms when they were out. Some time after, I saw them on their site for , I think $99.... I e mailed and called with a message. I received mine a few days later.....$120. At least I got it. Got a pro mag last week for $99...fit right in the Saiga 12 with no fitting. No bitchin.' I'm happy and they were $120 when I ordered.
  13. I will for sure keep that in mind. I like this forum so far and am a Saiga Newbie. You guys are great so far. Thanks!
  14. I know....bbbut I'm an old hermit living in a hut in the woods with an old Jack Russell. We does de bestest wes can!.
  15. LOL on that. My Saiga came with the BHO and my "conversion" was the simple, easy type. No moving the FCG. I have a large collection of guns, but few shotguns. The "wow" factor is great as well as it being an excellent shotgun. Gonna for sure keep this one.
  16. I actually pulled a hand muscle working on the thing. Fired and worked just fine after it was realigned. Must be broken in now as it cycled Federal low brass game loads today on #2 setting.
  17. Got 'er done and thanks for the help. Had to remove bolt and piston using a friend and a screwdriver. The BHO gizmo was high into the bolt and could not be pushed back in place until tension was relieved. Took a few tries but we got it. I know what to do in the future. Thanks again for helping a newbie!

    Bolt Stop.

Bolt stop and spring seem to have parted ways with bolt to the rear. I need to remove piston and bolt to get to it. Correct? (Bolt held to rear). Any suggestions? I've tried to work stop down by myself and just cannot do it. Will get help Thursday, Some tips on what to do and after I get to stop. Thanks in advance. MrMitch
  19. Yes indeedy I would. I know the gun and it's quirks that I master.
  20. That's why I stick to my own 140 yard range. It's open for anything I want.
  21. I fully understand prices going up and have no qualms about it. I am waiting to see how they will do this in a nice way.
  22. I tried some enemic rounds on the two setting and drum did its job but jammed every shot. I know it needs broken in .....no problem . Bolt didn't travel back enough. I have some high brass I'm gonna start on #1 setting and go from there. NOW.......Is high brass 2 3/4 ok on the two setting. Not 3 inch or magnum.
