  1. Somewhat interested. Waiting to hear back on cost of install for me. What muzzle device is that? What barrel diameter do you have? Can the locking lever be fixed (if I were to replace it from the one I currently have)? Does this already have a bullet guide?
  2. Hahahaha, that's my photo. 5.56 by David Pyzik, on Flickr
  3. Very nice. I didn't get my line wet once last year and still haven't been this year. Between the kid, wife, work and volunteering I don't even get time to sleep. Need to take a weekend off and spend the entire time on the water.

  5. I've got a couple more pictures I need to edit and upload. I'll post one of it open when I get it uploaded.
  6. Slightly disappointed but I had high expectations. Still like it. Saiga by Damage Photos, on Flickr

  11. I keep my blinds closed too. Though for the sake of the game, I'd probably try to take it down without the use of firearms then toss it in the microwave for good measure.
  12. A stock Saiga gas tube... guess I shouldn't have given mine away so many years ago.
  13. It looks like it's all poly with some steel reinforcements. I read that LOP was 12" to 14.5".
  14. With some help from a member on another forum, this is what my 223 will look like. Just got off the phone with a local guy and was quoted $125 to chop the barrel to 14.5, thread and pin the comp to 16"
  15. He's still around. I see his Facebook posts pretty much everyday. A video here and there.
  16. I am looking forward to trying their folding stock. I love my Beryl stock but it's more than lacking in the comfort column. I don't think it looks too bad. I'm glad it doesn't look just like a MOE or CTR or other AR stock. As for the handguard, it's Magpul. They look like every other Magpul handguard and I'm okay with that.
  17. My opinion would be a NO. Especially with a fixed carry handle. Does it come with a BCG and charging handle? If so, that makes the deal okay. I still wouldn't buy it if was me. No, a muzzle device is not needed but they're nice to have. For the same price (plus shipping) you can get a similar quality flat top upper, with a threaded muzzle from PSA (including BCG and charging handle). For only just shy of $70 more you can get a GREAT upper with an FN cold hammer forged barrel, and full mil-spec, MP/HP tested BCG. EDIT: Just remembered I'm not supposed to post links. Go to palmettostat
  18. Looks like you've got good taste as well. I'm sitting at 17 or 18 right now. SOON!
