  1. I only own one 223/556 and it is a PSA. Has the kit in the link below. Put it on a nice lower with a design I liked. Used it for deer hunting this last fall. Did what it needed to with one shot. Holds a tight smaller then dime group at 25yards. https://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-18-rl-223-wylde-15-mlok-moe-ept-rifle-kit-w-mbus-ss.html
  2. Well it's been awhile since on here, glad to see people still posting. I'm holding out where I am. I work in an industry that is listed as essential to the fed gov, so i get to continue to drive in to work everyday.(hvac-r)
  3. Well the gun ran great with the original gas adjuster in. Target loads ran well in the mags, but issues with the drum. 2 3/4 steel ran great in drum though. All in all functioned as it should being dirty.
  4. I just want a 25rd drum to hold a box of shells in. 3" compatibility would be amazing. MD, i still am awaiting you to have doublestacks out. I love my drum i bought years ago.
  5. Thank you guys the input is greatly appreciated. I bought both 2-3/4 and 3" #2 federal steel. I plan on going out tomorrow and getting my gas system working properly after conversion. I have had very little range time the last few years so I need to practice a little bit. I've done some trap in the past done relatively well for stock barrel only difference now is I have a Flash suppressor of the end. Just a curiosity sido does anybody know of the new tac 47 auto plug does 3" shells now? I do have 2 of the older versions, brand new never used.
  6. I'd love to load my own for this and get some use out of my bench, however I'm going to buy off the shelf to start. Any recomondations on what shot to use and possible fps? I am not one to shy away from 1500+ in both 3 and 2-3/4". I shoot the hornady sst slugs that state 2000fps, those are a blast.
  7. For spring goose, the state has no capacity restrictions, fall there is. I made a call to the local game warden, hoping to get a call back and have them take a look before i go. I have converted my S12.
  8. I have an opportunity to go spring goose hunting. However I just have my S12. Anyone have any recomondations on 2 3/4 and 3 inch shells. There is no capacity limits so I am hopefull to try and run a drum so I hope i can find matching specs on ammo in both sizes. This will be my first time hunting something that flys.
  9. 5rd factory loaded alternating 000buck and blackcloud, in mag pouch arms reach from s12 with action open.
  10. I am copying and pasting to fb. This will definately piss of the leftist that haven't unfriended me.
  11. I was in college, seen the second plane hit on tv, said we are going to war, and went back to class. Sad i felt we were going back to the middle east without knowing who did the attack.
  12. I haven't look recently. Last time i used it i used it as a starter to burn garbage. I was a teen and wow was that a boom and i had garbage 40 plus feet in the air from a 55gal steel drum. Thats what i get for splashing some on and walking the can 50ft away before i lit a match and tossed it in.
  13. I still leark when i have time. Wnt from cushy 40hr work week wil lit drive time to half hour one way and now 9hr min days.
  14. Just caught an ammoland article stating that ghost gunner has won his case.
  15. Speaking of shotgun for home defense I haven't seen any where they've use a shotgun, I see more they've use pistols and rifles but could you imagine even with the Saiga 12 with an 18.5 inch barrel and you had a hunting load like black cloud and some triple 000 buck there wouldn't be anything left of the perp in less than 20 ft encounter.
  16. Cobsidering netflix removed last man standing without even getting the last 2 seasons up. I've noticed lots of good shows go. I haven't cancelled, but i will be sure to not watch anything from those clowns and make sure to low rate the shows they produce.
  17. I pay my 20 a year and i use there system to email and write my congress critters.
  18. The bumpstocks was the end, the point was goa in the eyes of those wanting to disarm the people is worse then the fudd nra. Ive seen the nra compromise and help create these compromises then actually fight to keep the rights. I dont care if you want a bumpstock or full auto, and the issue with full auto was the crime committed was done by a police officer, not a every day person.
  19. Sorry this says it all. https://youtu.be/y5NRbSTvRnA

  21. I've used 115gr for years, however thats my personal preference as my original p95 shot that best and was recommended by the manufacturer. As for self-defense loads i am looking at those solid copper rounds, i just cant place the manufacturer currently.
  22. Thanks for all the info on removal. They are cheap screws and i did plan on heat since i did use actual loctite, i just didnt want to use a torch, never did think about solder iron.
