  1. couldn't have said it better myself. I'm just sitting back and enjoying the show. Watching the panicee's panic is kind of amusing now. Well, I'm not amused by people getting hosed and panic buying, I'm just relieved to be out of the game. I feel bad for people that are just getting into some of this stuff like I was in 2008/9. Everyone knows that Barack is bad for guns, but there isn't a crystal ball telling us when he's going to decide to screw us over, illegally or not. What's a guy to do? Most people can't afford to buy an expensive firearm AND 10,000 rounds at the same time.
  2. I've personally lost all interest in obtaining more foreign firearms in the wake of this BS and I don't think I'm the only one out there that has (there is a reason that I never got into ARs and this is it... I figured I would have more time to do so). I think something like where csspecs is going would be much more likely to be a winner in the market place and much more difficult to legislate away.
  3. The only comment I can really make is that the 10-12 Colt wheel guns I've fired have been outstanding. I'm sure they make junk from time to time, but I haven't seen it. As far as your training concern, it's just that: training. Train with it until you get it down cold and don't carry a S&W anymore once you've built that muscle memory.
  4. I'm actually pretty happy that I don't have any money to spend as this "panic" unfolds. I was able to stock up a few things I needed at "alright" prices last fall. So... I have no panic... Not because I'm so well supplied, but because I can't play anyhow. It's a strange situation to be happy about being broke but it is shockingly waaay less stressful than the last wave of panic when I DID have money.
  5. I recently went through this situation with my own mother and quickly discovered a few things. Getting the CCW is paramount and everyone that can legally obtain one should, whether or not they ever decide to carry or own a firearm. Should she make the decision that it's time to carry, she's immediately ready to go. So good for you mom! ANY semi-auto above .22LR has a slide spring that is too difficult for her to manage. I'm not too sure how she would do with a 12lb trigger on most revolvers either. Her general attitude about gun safety after close to 70 years of not giving it much
  6. To be back on topic, and I've been trying to butt my nose out of a LONG time but I have a thought that will not go away, have any of you guys that are without parts considered hiring a legit PI to track him down and serve him with a warranty, for either court or jail, in his home state? That would certainly make his life difficult...
  7. Speaking of that... How does the import ban affect planned roll out of this product? How does it affect the supply of your product?
  8. I've found my CAI gun to be really nice. I think time have changed or at least their yugos are nice! Your furniture is looking DOPE! I straighted my folder by locking the butt end between by feet and twisting it until I liked it. Worked like a charm. No more rubbing when folded! FWIW.... I have a yugo bayonet I may like to sell if you may like to buy it. PM me.
  9. I would say that a better investment of your funds would to be to get into a company with a market prospectus that guarantees win. I'd be sending CSSPECS, R&R, and MD (if you can trust them as a company... frankly, I don't...) proposals for fractional partnership.
  10. Am I the only one curious about what JTE has to say about this?
  11. Barry knew exactly what the fuck he was doing. Pound your congressman in the ass until they bleed. "Don't come to me with no petition fool, just come to me with ammunition..."
  12. Kali can drop off the map into the pacific in a lake of fire as far as I'm concerned. Anyone that believes in 2A and is installing "bullet buttons" or registering is part of the problem as far as I'm concerned. You're in bed with 20 million illegals AND Hollyweird... I don't care how deep your ties are, move the fuck out. Yeah, you can quote me a few years from now when they want bullet buttons and registration in my state, but I won't be backing down... The brown shirts can do as they may and I'll do as I may. You guys are fucked. My honest opinion is that their simply wasn't
  13. I was really wanting one of these also. And a saiga 223 Personally, I won't buy another Russian firearm for a LOOOONG time... This will effect the already shitty parts supply situation too. I wanted a street swepper bad, the S-12 was better and vastly more affordable, so I bought one. I'm good. So.. Bring the ARs that I never cared much about! Da Fuck, Darth? You got off the rails, homes.... I don't think so, Anthony... Given this swipe of a pen ban, just why in the fuck would I want to by an already inferior to the S-12, never mind VEPR-12, firearm from
  14. I edited a grip of times (as is my usual MO... I want it "just right") so I think we're in total agreement. I'm still open to being called an asshole based on the edits you didn't see at the time of your response... I work hard to NOT be "THAT" engineer. To summarize: Send it to Sig... Let their engineers verify my armchair engineer (as a pro) analysis of the firearm.
  15. The whole thing has probably been annealed. Definitely not safe to fire without having it inspected by a very competent gunsmith who knows a thing or three about metallurgy. I don't generally like to throw this around a ton because I feel its an asshole thing do to (so call me an asshole if you want), but I'm a legit ME, went to a great school, got good grades, a decade in industry, and all of that, and there is no damn way that thing has been annealed based on the grips still being very much intact. The metal isn't even colored beyond char from other stuff burning on it. It will b
  16. Since I only have 1 S-12... $10k is my "I can't not do this" price.
  17. "An AK talks, and bullshit runs..." Russian firearms have been banned for the entire duration of the Barry/Hitlary "dynasty". This shit is going to stick. We should all be thankful we got in when we did no matter what we paid. I just wish I had the funds to get a VEPR x54R on the way today. I'm glad there are vandors like R&R and Cssspecs to kept us in parts and mags for the foreseeable future. Not everyone's taste, but... "Freedom got an AK!" RIP AK, RIP: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NvR-comjpJI and yes... I've listened to both of these songs with my AK
  18. A point made in the youtube comments of that video is that this will drive the price of ALL AK variants up no matter where they come from. Buy soon if you're looking!
  19. Buddy you're already eating my dust. Why did I just buy another AK and 2600 rounds of ammo and rifle mags and pistol mags and another drum? Cause it's a buyer's market and I don't think it will be much longer. What you're doing is the opposite of panic buying. THIS will start the panic.
  20. Saigas are still in stock and priced reasonably... Better order them up tonight before things go nuts, boys!
  21. I am a NRA life member and didn't know this. Very interesting. $2500 of gun and ACCESSORY (including mags) coverage is automatically included in your membership. You can buy more if you like and the rate isn't bad. That's actually why I became an NRA member years ago. I couldn't get insurance on the guns at a reasonable price. It also stacks on top of your home owners insurance and can help cover a deductible. The NRA calls it "Arms Care Plus".
  22. Putin seems to understand more about our political situation than most Americans... Sooo... Putin isn't a pussy and isn't going to be backing down. I officially call for the beginning of this round of panic buying! Also, King Barry could pretty easily remove all of these sanctions at a later date, EXCEPT the firearms companies, and never hear boo about it.
  23. Even if its not true, it could change at any given minute with no notice or congressional approval.
