    After about an hour with the dremel I decided to take my .223 and AR mag adapter to a pro. Ended up at Global Military Gunsmithing, and am very pleased with the results, price and turn around time. Props to Global.

      I suspect that others at the school are Pedos too, and covered it up as the pickings were just too good for them... The school is about to become engulfed in a hellstorm of lawsuits and rightfully so.

      I was there yesterday. could only stay for one day. was alot of fun. Met the american guns crew, saw Will Haden, Gunny, Uncle Ted. Kvar booth has a sick .22 revolver knife that coming out in DH5 movie. I got to fondle it a bit. Had a great time a the IWI booth. The Tavor is Awesome! I cant wait. Saw a couple of cowboy action gunslingers. That was alright. Really great show. had alot of fun. sad I cant be there for the rest of the week.

      the hard part is the trigger-guard roll pin.. make sure you support the EARS with a 1/2" or so block of wood.. when pounding it in.. mine was a PITA.. I just built my 1st last week.. good fun for about 45 mins.. mostly on THAT pin.. the bolt catch pin is easy.. just go slow.. then install the catch.. then tap rest of way thru..

    At the gun store yesterday and they had what I thought was a converted saiga 7.62 with the barrell shroud (no muzzle break) on it. I called it a Saiga, the guy behind the counter "corrected" me in a nice and not douchey way and called it an AK. He was busy, as all gun stores are now and I just wanted a price, $1300, so I didn't argue. But can you tell the difference between a saiga and another AK variant without actually holding it and looking at markings?

      Most gun store clerks I've met only think Saigas are shotguns... many have never seen a Saiga rifle. Gun store clerks are generally not a wealth of information... they're generally hired on their ability to fill out 4473's, not relay information on firearms beyond what the tag might say.

      Yeah they don't know a whole lot. The ones that do however, sell the shit out of a gun store's inventory. I only know of one in my area that knows his shit and he's a reserve Marine as well.
