I should have never put the shepherds crook back, I ended up having to buy a retaining plate. The gas mod is easy, gunfun and I did mine in a tent while camping. I think I used a hatchet and a block of wood to knock my gas block off if I remember right.

I'm currently modding my PAP M85PV. One of the things I'm doing is adding a AR style safety, so I ground off the old safe/fire lables. This is of course okay but what about can't I take off? i know the serial number absolutely have to stay, I'm assuming that i need to keep the importers marks and the manufacturers name. so (and i know this sounds like a stupid question) can i take off the "read owners manual before use" and the Model/caliber labels? the reason i ask is 1) they're ugly, 2) they take up space that i might use for engraving later down the road. this picture was taken b
