  1. Depends on what you want. Do I want an assault rifle to clear a building? Sure, give me an AR. Do I want a battle rifle to hold a field? Sure, give me a M14. Do I want a sniper's rifle to reach out and touch someone at 2500 yards? Ok, I'd like a .338 Lapua bolt action. Do I have to hold a hallway? I'd like a 12 gauge with a semi auto action and large mags. Saiga 12 or Benelli M4
  2. God I hate liberals. WE NEED NAKED CHICKS WITH GUNS! This link is not safe for work! http://www.igorshof.com/pics/0908/nude-girl-with-gun-3014.jpg Left it as a link so as to not offend the general discussion section.
  3. I didn't say they weren't. What I said was you weren't going to do it offhand.
  4. Again, the reason I mentioned it was mainly for the revolutionary war history. You don't need to take that AK to Appleseed. The program is for you, not your weapon. Converting your singular targeting nomenclature to standard, a fist sized rock is about 4 inches around and if you're shooting it at 200 yards, that means you say you are shooting 2 MOA groups, which is far above the nominal 4 to 6 MOA the general consensus seems to have that a standard condition AK has. However, I'll take you at your word. Shooting man sized targets at 500 yards, and I mean hitting them somewhere, r
  5. I believe it is the 7th time he qualified expert, and that is the either the Army or the Corps. What I put up was the rifleman's patch of Appleseed, and I put it up more for the history that that program teaches, more than the marksmanship, which is a scaled down version of the Army Qualification Test, which I don't think the Army uses any more. Appleseed is a great program, and it's good for women and kids in addition to men. You shoot about a brick of 22 in a weekend and learn all about the American Revolution. The north bridge battle is very prominent in the Appleseed histories.
  6. You may wish to look up the Battle of Concord, where, on the North Bridge, 500 Militia men caused three companies of the King's Men to BREAK AND RUN due to withering, accurate fire. This was on the first day of the war, with the battles of Lexington and Concord. The entire British Army presence in the area then retreated under fire to Boston where they would be under the guns of the British ships in the harbor. Then, reinforcements arrived and a war for 8 years started. Of course, if you had one of these, you'd know this already, and be a decent shot as well. Have a nice night
  7. I won't be doing this holiday this year, but I guess I like a properly done turkey leg the most.
  8. Back when I just ate junk food, multiple meals of pizza would make it horrible.
  9. Not sure I agree with that. Sure, the AK is a great gun for the standard soldier, but Americans have never been standard. What caused the British Army to break ranks and run at the start of our Revolution? Answer me that, and you learn the AK is not the best rifle out there.
  10. Don't look now, Arik, but unless you're speaking ex cathedra on us, you're an example of only one as well.
  11. I have no issues with my Kimbers or HKs. Well, I guess my 91 and 93 will put brass into the next country. Edit: Meant to say county. Doesn't throw them into Canada, just way over there.
  12. There is an EGR position sensor that reads the EGR valve. I had to do both the valve and the sensor on mine.
  13. It sounds dumb. Chain shot has been around forever. Two cannonballs, more powder, and chain connecting them was a lethal anti-personnel cannon ammo, along with grapeshot and the original grenade rounds. The way to apply this is not in a pistol, but in 00 Buck shells.
  14. I believe that's an ad. Jack single barrel is Jack black label from a barrel that best exemplifies the quality. Gentleman Jack is Jack black label that is filtered again through the charcoal after aging. You can buy an entire single barrel, but it's bottled, and you get the barrel halves from which it is made, all however many single label bottles, and the whole thing shrink wrapped on a pallet. I would presume that that barrel is an ad for the palletized, bottled, single barrel and the barrel.
  15. In terms of geography and culture, Turkey is the north western country in the middle east. Istanbul sits on the dividing line between the continents. Some of their guns are good. I also want some Israeli guns. I don't think it has to do too much with country, more with the company. There are shitty American guns.
  16. Did you notice how he had his homie coming to help, and that asshole split when he saw it going wrong? I was hoping he'd get it too.
  17. Unless the case was about welfare fraud... I know white's that are abusing the system too...a family of 3 and every one of them is on disabilty. Two have "issues" but, all three are still able to work (two arms, two legs, and a brain). Growing up in Virginia, when the issue of race came up, we always drew distinctions between good people and bad people and I never made assumptions based on the color of their skin but by how they acted arounds others. That was 25 years ago. Why do you feel the need to bring up skin color? Don't we get enough of this, from the media and other people, t
  18. Savage is to rifles like the Chevelle is to muscle cars. Good, but there's better.
  19. My grandma made the paper being a juror at 95.
  20. Rule I have heard is if they measure it in gauge, not plate, it's not a safe.
  21. Remingtons and Winchesters are, or at least were, hard to beat.
  22. Most of my pistols will not do 3 inches at 50. A USP Elite I have is about the only one I can think of that can. It's fun to shoot the 100 yard rifle steel plate with it, just have to aim 6" high.
  23. Thunderbolt is not the best anyway. Wax gums up actions. Seen it a lot on the Appleseed Line.
