My Fleet Farm still has about 8 or 9 1080 cans. I feel like I should buy one even though I don't have a 5.45 Saiga... yet.

The TAPCO products are cheap. That's the only nice thing I have to say about them. Their collapsable stocks are adequete, but the fixed and folding stocks are garbage.

Well we still have two weeks to wait out for her. I've heard everything from this being another '94 ban to this being an outright ban on semi-automatics. Tell us what you speculate, no matter how crazy. Also tell us whether you think said bill will pass. I'll start: '94 AW ban + Detachable magazine ban + high-cap ban. Will not pass.

I guess what I said yesterday was slightly false, so I edited this for a significantly shorter post: The chances of this AW ban passing are slim. With all of the panic buying going on right now, magazines, AR-15s, AKs, and other firearms will be impossible to buy for the next year after the ban fails.

I have been having troubles deciding what to buy for my Saiga's conversion. I want to buy my conversion kit when the MD-20s are back in stock at CSS. So I ask you, the people, if you had an unconverted Saiga and $150-$400 to spend on it, what would you buy?

I wish I had the money for an AKS12. One of these days...

CSS lied! MD-20s in stock NOW. Please don't be out of stock after Christmas. I was going to buy a conversion kit and drum then. Legitimate question, about how long will they take to sell out? Faster than you can say 'lickity split'. They are gone. Fortunately, they will be back on January 2. I will not hesitate to buy one then.

Bought A Used Saiga 12 And It Won't Cycle

1. Clean the gun 2. Check gas ports. You have to unscrew the gas plug under the front sight and remove the gas puck. You may need to poke the puck out with something. Shine a light in there and see how many holes are there. If anything is blocked you are going to need to take the gun apart and drill them out. 3. Polish the bolt. 4. Buy and aftermarket gas plug such as the MD Arms V-Plug or Tac 47 Autoplug. 5. Buy an aftermarket gas puck. I use the Carolina Shooters Supply one. 6. Last resort: Buy a reduced recoil spring. I did everything up to step five on my gun a
