  1. Bill Clinton, as in AWB. The plate on the bottom with the trigger guard has to come off.
  2. Presuming you have a 308 since this is the 308 forum, no.
  3. Both DAG and MEN have that corrosion issue. The problems seem to be limited to 93 and 94. If you have 93 or 94, I'd advise removing it from the boxes ASAP; the reports I've seen are that there is something acidic in the cardboard.
  4. I have an old SLR Arsenal AK that is built like a tank. As for shipping, it helps to live in the same city as K-VAR and Arsenal.
  5. Strange that they still make no mention of them on their web site, I wonder if they gave up on them?
  6. $489.99 at Midwest Hunters Outlet
  7. Not much else except that you will need 1 extra USA made part to make it 922r compliant. you can take care of this with a PG.... Fail The PG is an added part, like a muzzle device. Presuming you use a US made FCG & PG you would still need one additional US made part for 922r compliance.
  8. Dude, you really need to get your facts straight. If you swap out your buttstock for a US made Monte Carlo buttstock, no problem - no 922r issues; if you swap out your gas piston for a US made gas piston, no problem - no 922r issues; if you swap out your magazine for a US made mag, (as long as it's sporting - 10 or less rounds), no problem - no 922r issues; if you swap out your handguard for a US made handguard, no problem - no 922r issues. Again, changing from sporting config is what causes 922r to come into play, not using US made replacement parts.
  9. Nonsense, changing from sporting config causes 922r to come into play, not using US made replacement parts.
  10. I have 2 of them, I was surprised and pleased by the quality.
  11. They do call it a SAW grip themselves. It is working very well for me, it fits my hand perfectly. It replaced a TAPCO SAW grip.

How is it that replacing a Russian stock with a Russian stock is non-compliant?
  13. Bulgarian Arsenal RPK SAW grip from KVAR:
  14. I just got my Arsenal SAW grip installed, it feels great, very solid! Has anyone else tried these yet?
  15. This IS great news! I have been wondering why you guys didn't do this years ago. I love my FBMG mags!
  16. I have never understood their reluctance to mass produce these mags, especially considering the cost of the mold.
  17. I have both (sitting in a box, I wound up going with wood). The Tapco feels sturdier to me, the kvar is cleaner looking.
