  1. I wish I still had The Outdoor Network. Every Wednesday night was about a 3-4 hour block of all gun shows called "Wednesday Night at the Range". Lots of gun porn, without the drama.
  2. I want something in .308, for absolutely no other reason than "just because".

  3. I have a cheap one from Target or somewhere. $30. It works OK. At least for entertaining my 2 year old nephew. I'd like to get a bigger one for outdoors, but from the little research I've done, you're looking at big $$ for something that won't get blown off course with a slight breeze.
  4. Thank you for the complement sir! Well as for the mods I have that l/h charging handle you've seen, I have the modified safety but the one that extends it back so guys that run unconverted s12's can operate the safety without moving their hand but I can use it almost like an AR safety with my thumb. The only other thing is my sling. I run a single point and it helps me out a lot! Nice. Keep up the good work!
  5. Yep. The guy in the link I posted, dimensionally beefed up that area, and a few other areas. Imagine when stronger polymers are going to be able to be used? The possibilites are endless. This was brought up in that thread. Amazing stuff.
  6. This sums it up for me. My guess is that if he received return fire, he would have ran, or went for cover, giving people time to escape. He was suited up for a battle, but didn't have the guts to bang it out with police when they showed up. So I assume a citizen in the theater actually taking shots at him would have made him reevaluate his priorities. Doesn't really matter, though. That chain of theaters has a no-carry policy, preventing law-abiding folks from carrying in there. See how well those policies work out for you if you follow the law? I'm not advocating breaking the law
  7. I just watched your new "Like a Boss" video. I have to say, the control you have over that S12, with 1 arm, is pretty amazing. Being able to clear a malfuntion that way was prettty damn impressive, too. I can see you have an ambi-charging handle. What other sorts of mods do you have, if any, to help you operate your weapon easier with 1 arm?
  8. So this guy decided to use a 3D printer and print an AR lower. It's sort of mind boggling. If you don't know what a 3D printer is, look on YouTube. Weirdest shit ever. So far he's tried it with a .22 upper and 5.56 upper. It functioned fine. It's not super tough plastic, but can you imagine in the not-so-distant future, being able to "print" super durable products like this? Crazy. The higher end machines can print in more detail, and there is already machines that can print metal. But the cost of the machine, etc, comes into play at that point. But someday, I imagine that the pri
  9. Thats not my sister lol....its the "Geek Squad Gangster's" sister lol Well she's still hot.

    yes!

I think it's a real tat. Those strings appear to be clear fishing line type material.
  11. This thread reminds me of two things: 1) That ridiculously biased news piece video about how CCW doesn't work. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it. I'll post a link if I can find it. Cliff notes: They give a gun to some people who have never handled a gun (and 1 kid who's spent some time on a range). Then have an active shooter unexpectadly rush into a class room and immediately shoot the one person with a gun. This is all to prove that CCW doesn't work, because that's exactly how it would go down in real life. (Am I laying the sarcasm on thick enough?) 2) How the mo
  12. Nice video! It's been a long time since I fired my S12. It's also been a long time since I've seen a video of an S12 in action..........and it's seriously making me reconsider on selling mine. Your video might have convinced me to keep it.............and your sister's hot.

    yes!

I love quality tats on a chick. This picture, I just thought was hot, even though it looks like a junkie did the tats.
  14. 22_Shooter

    yes!

    From the album: Randomness.

Maybe not the best quality tattoo...........but for some reason, I still really, really, really like it.
  15. I couldn't accept it, bro. I have a ton of pre-ban 30 and 20 round AK mags as it is, and I'm pretty sure I have a few factory 10's stashed somewhere. Taking your mag would be greedy, lol. I appreciate it, though. Worst comes to worst, you get to keep another mag in your stash. You can never have too many mags. But I agree, I'm surprised no one has actually entered. Even if no one takes it, it's still very generous of you to offer it up.
  16. Cute pup. Details on the ride in the background? Air bag suspension, or coil-overs or lowering springs?
  17. I like it a lot. I'm not sure if it's just the comp, or a combination of the comp + middy gas system + the heavy buffer............but this thing feels like an air gun and stays on target really nicely. It's modeled after the Battlecomp, but is quite a bit cheaper. Another plus, is that it's not like most comps that are obnoxiously loud. It's louder than an A2, but not by much.
  18. Yeah, the pinned comp can be a bitch if you're looking to swap things out. Since we have to have pinned comps (or nothing at all) on an AR in NY anyway, that's part of what made me go with the 14.5" pinned to 16". I didn't have to pay extra for it, as it came that way. As for your situation, yeah, I would probably be a little more concerned with the finish, since it wouldn't be hidden under a rail. But you could always use some Cold Blue or similar pastes to finish it and keep it looking good.
  19. Dont feel bad, Ive got 14 years of active duty service under my belt, 32 years old and STILL have no idea what I want to do when I grow up.... and scared to death about what im going to do in 6 years... Oh, and I couldnt be happier serving our country. My current job in the AF is getting kind of old (working a special duty right now) but definitely looking forward to going back to my primary job in a year. I hear ya, and I feel that same "fear". Things have a weird way of working out, though. I'm confident that I'll end up where I'm supposed to be, as I'm sure you will, too.
