  1. Joe hit it,practice helps a lot. Other than that, some guns had problems with the surefires being a little snug. You just need to find where its holding up and put a file to it.Once its fitted, like the OEM mags too,it'll fly right in there.
  2. Once its broken in it should eat pretty much anything. Soon the addiction will catch up to you and you have it covered in toys and get it some siblings...
  3. Just think if someone had to use it as a breach on someones face and left the smiley behind right in the center of their forehead
  4. Lol,oops gotta love double posts....
  5. Its funny how they keep using the line"those which can be traced",ours is one of the few countries that takes time to register guns,so of course ours would be more traceable than any coming out of South America or Africa,or even the middle east, where they just dont track that. Its easy to vilify us when they play the wording right, and most people don't realize what the media are saying is mostly double talk and lies.
  6. That youtube video is about how I do it. I have some bags to support the gun and with a regular screw driver in the slot, just give it a pop down and back and it comes right out.
  7. If you have a round chambered and the bolt open you wont be able to get the mag in and close the bolt. The bolt will try to pick up the top shell and chamber it but the shell in there obviously wont let it go.
  8. AIM seems to have decent prices most of the time, bought from them on many occasion. Also saved that Palmetto link, their prices look decent too.
  9. Heres where I got mine. http://www.rrarms.com/catalog.php?prod=ACA128 Was best price from the few places that carried them too.
  10. Well, working at a small business, and most of the people I know do too,you get to see first hand what goes on with it. The breaks may not come so much from the federal level direct but local governments are dishing the breaks out left and right around here to big companies in the hopes that a few hundred jobs come with them. In the meantime the small places that employ thousands of people collectively get beat up on taxes all the way up the ladder,so yes,I do believe that. Unfortunately, the small businesses don't have the money or clout to sit and suck up to the feds so the small voices don'
  11. Sounds cool, hopefully the prices are decent. At least the cases and primers are Russian and not chinese.

    5 round mags

Are you using the mag for compliance parts? 5 round mags for shotties are still sporting, not considered high caps.
  13. Trouble is too,the government somehow doesn't see that small businesses employ a majority of the people in this country so they just keep punishing them with high taxes and give the big companies all the breaks they want.
  14. Unfortunately you can plainly see Obongo dont give a shit about us. Look at the idiot parading around the world telling them how bad we are and its all our fault.
  15. I have one of the steel Surefires and love it. I believe they used East German mags and reworked them to fit our Saigas. They made them for .223 and X39s
  16. GOA just sent out an email to send to our idiots on the hill to let them know we are against her. I'm pretty sure most of us here are members so I won't post it. Send it on to all our gun friendly friends too to pass it on.
  17. Sounds like a feed lip and follower problem. Good chance that the follower is not keeping the casing snug up against the inside of the feed lip and letting it pop on out with the recoil and hit from the ejecting shell. If that is the case it should most likely be the right side that is loose and letting it fly,if it were the left it would get caught up against the dust cover or could even still bounce into the chamber.
  18. Had the chance to watch them a few years back,it really is amazing how they work. They even kept guard through a hurricane that went through there a bunch of years ago.
  19. I use the Surefires in my .308 without any problems. The only thing to really watch for in the higher caps on them is you need to use pointed bullets, then they're good to go.
  20. I had a 500 years ago and didn't have much luck with the aluminum receiver.I did a lot of trap shooting with it and the brass started eating up the ejection port.Did it soon enough that it still had the warranty on it and sent it back. After waiting two months for its return I gave up,got my money back and bought an 870. Never had a problem with that and still use it a lot. Of course having an S12 now for a few years I've been using them a lot more. My opinion on them is if you use them to do a lot of shooting they're not all that great but for HD and such that won't see much action they're
  21. Damn I feel old. I don't get carded for buying ammo, they just hand it to me.Guess the gray hair has something to do with it,lol. As for the online places,I've bought guns off gunbroker without ID,I've bought ammo from some places that require ID and others that don't. Its more state specific as to who needs it and who doesn't,all according to their laws.
  22. Dr. Do you have dimensions for those slugs?looks interesting.
  23. Well since she wasn't even born in the US, that would mesh well with the radical left efforts to make the United States start using other countries laws as a basis for legal decisions. Sure, screw the Constitution - it's a One World View for them. HarvKY As much as we want the useless heap out of here, she would do more harm yet in Washington,so hopefully she sticks to her story about not wanting the SCOTUS appointment
