I've shot both silver bear and Brown bear with no issues with either. I believe they are from the same manufacturer too.

Actually,all the surefires have 33% glass in their nylon. I still stick by their mags after these few years,and I've tried almost all the mags out just for kicks.

Don't they do this same poll about once a year? At least its still up at 97% even though it should be 100%

Purpleheart is a beautiful wood,one thing to keep in mind though is that it does turn brown over time. Working with it isn't too bad as long as your tools are sharp.Also wear a respirator or at least a good dust mask,it will fuck up your lungs... It can chip a bit easy when turning it,but hand work is good to use on it.

Them '02 explorers had band issues from the start of production until March of 02,then they fixed it and they were decent trannies. They had to put new bushings in for the pin on the intermediate bands. I had one,was the first problem we had with an Explorer,had a 93 before that that we kept instead of trading it in,ran that until 06 without major problems. I still drive my 96 F-250 almost daily,getting into riding season again,but that truck has towed a 27' camper across half the country. I've had vehicles from all the American companies and had the best luck with Fords,so I'll stick with

I' watching the progress here too. I have been saving the silver bears in 410 and 12 gg and have been wondering about a way to reload them as well. What if you were to punch out a piece of plastic to use for the inner wad a bit oversized by a few thousandths,would it be able to get past the little left over crimp or would it just shear in there?

Check your serial number,they're numbered just like the RAA rifles with the first two numbers being the year.

Sounds like it needs a bit more breaking in and is a bit undergassed. Polishing a bit more and gently rounding off the sharp corners that hold up bolt travel will help too. Your mag shouldnt have anything to do with it at that point as its empty,unless the follower stays well down below the top. You can check if the ports are open with a dental pick,I like to keep them clean and have a pick in my shooting box. Just shoot it some more and let it break in better,it'll be fine.

I've got a few different brands of mags,I've had good luck with both of these except for the screws coming loose in my AGP. I havent had any trouble with the plastic feed lips either,so I like the surefires better.

Well,you're right,it was made this year.The 10 at the start of the SN is the year. That is one sweet rifle,we have to build ours back to looking like that here. Congrats on the new friend.

I've got AGP and Surefires and of the two I've had better luck with the Surefires.Theyre a bit more but mine have been 100% reliable so far. My AGPs didnt fit too well and would hang up from time to time.

I would contact them,they've got real good customer service and should make it right for you.

I've got a few of the tri rails on some of my Saigas.I did drill and tap into one of them to mount the original sling mount off of the factory handguard and it worked fine. Was able to torque down the screw good and tight and it held. Whatever that plastic is its some strong stuff.It may have been one of my rifles and tapped through the steel insert inside.

I've got a few of them on various Saigas. Never had any heat problems with any of them,not the .308 especially even after about 100 rounds. It should hold a bipod with no problems,if it fits loose at the front when you go to put it on,you may need to tweek the pins on the GB. I dont have rail covers on any of mine,but I like the look of the rail the way it is,besides,its too far to reach to catch the rails. If you're talking about the spacing of the slots on the pic rails they seem to be spaced evenly

I've got a few of them,one on my .308 even,it goes on just as easy as the OEM handguard comes off.I haven't had any troubles with mine yet and they've all seen lots of lead down the pipe.

The rail is about 4 - 4 1/2 inches long in front of the hand guard,the whole thing is about 10" long. and this other bozo is reported too btw

I was just over there from the 11th to the 14th,great sand box to play in.They have the 450 acre playground for anything wheeled,took my Crew Cab out there to play. Stayed at the state park right on Silver Lake there and had a blast,even rented waverunners one day. It is a great area,and if you have the time its only about 45 minutes from Michigan Adventure park too to play on roller coasters and water park.

I bought a 250 back in 96 with the 460 in it.Still have the truck and used it mainly for hauling a camper around half the country and back. Mine only came with a 6 3/4 foot box,was before they had the other options. That truck and the heavy suspension and higher clearance goes a lot of places.Be going to the sand dunes again next week to play. If I had to do it again,or when I guess,I'll get another 250 but with the diesel,just for the mileage. After all these years I've only had to replace the radio so far and it runs like a raped ape.

I've shot o Hoyt bow for the past 15 years,bought it used and saved a ton of cash. You need to find what type of shooting you want to do,I like the compound for target shooting and hunting.That being said,mines a behemoth compared to the new bows. Over the years I've tried a few different setups on mine,right now I use a Whisker Biscuit rest with a cantilevered adjustable sight and so far that has worked out best for me.My release is a wrist strap style,which makes it real easy to pull back the 72 lb my bow is set at as you don't need to rely on your fingers so much for a grip. I have the Gunner on one of my S 12s and it seems to work quite well.Just like the looks of it over the Boss,but it does reduce recoil.

I've got a couple of the SGM HGs and the ones for the rifle do have a steel insert where it locks up to the pins in the GB. The shotgun version doesnt since its screwed to the bottom,but both versions are set up like the stock HGs with the steel. I've run a lot of rounds down the pipes on the Saigas I have with the SGMs without any troubles yet.
