  1. I'll take the RAM extended mag release and the K-Var standard AK grip w/screw. PM inbound.
  2. Bonesteel makes good stuff. He's a great guy to deal with too. They don't require cutting the tang like most every other folding option out there. I think you can order left OR right folders from them now. One or the other, not one that folds either way. The 100 series folder is solid, but as mentioned, a bit of a pain to install. If you can get someone that knows what they're doing to install it for you, that'd be my first suggestion. When locked open, they're essentially a fixed stock. The most common setup I've seen is the ACE folding mechanism (I prefer the non-push button) with w
  3. Loving my Millett DMS-1. A bit heavy, but extremely solid.
  4. Hi As HPD said, irons are very practical on a shotgun. Red dots are perhaps a bit faster, but usually require batteries, can be bulky, heavy and sometimes less durable than we'd like. The better ones typically cost more. Primary Arms is probably a good comprimise between price and durability. I have one on an RS Quick Detach side mount and enjoy it (more on my rifle than shotgun, but still). RS mounts are quite nice, IMO. HK sights rock. I've got some waiting to go on my current S12 conversion (just have to get the front welded). Krebs sights are nice too, but you mentioned having a
  5. Mine was made from an old leaf spring. Kinda like a Bowie, just bigger.
  6. Glad to hear you kicked its butt. I like your breast cancer awareness pic too. LOL
  7. Now I lay me down to rest. A 12 ga shotgun is the best, The door is locked, but not from fear. To keep you safe from ME, it's clear. Should you mistake me for a mark, as you rummage in the dark. My footsteps soft, you will not hear. Your last misjudgement, most severe.

  8. So I can't post pics? *EDIT* Seems to work fine for me. I just copied the direct link to photo and clicked on the little photo icon when posting and pasted the link there.
  9. It didn't have the grenade pad or anything......and I felt it. LOL
  10. I suspect prices will still be up, even though much of the panic buying is subsiding. I don't imagine folks are quite ready to sell these "at regular price" yet. I hope they do, but I'm not expecting it yet. I wouldn't mind having one myself.
  11. I really like Glock 19s as a decent balance between firepower and size. Parts are available and it's an easy system to use. If I'm able to conceal it well (climate/clothing allowing), I also really like my Taurus PT145. It's a 10 shot 45 ACP that's not much larger than the G19. It also has the added benefit of "dual strike capability", which is a fancy way of saying it's a true double action.....so if a primer doesn't go off, you're able to pull the trigger again and hit it a second time, if you wanted to.
  12. LOL. Actually, a buddy gave me a shitload of reloading equipment and among the various things were loose ammo. I've got live 50 BMG rounds headstamped from 1942, a bunch of old "cowboy" bullets (44-40, ect), a bunch of 35 Remington, old paper shotshells and some other stuff. Still haven't looked through all the boxes.
  13. DON'T DO IT!!!! The 45 is larger in diameter than the 410 barrel. You can shoot a 410 (.410") out of a 45 colt, but not a 45 Colt (.451) out of a 410. The Judge handguns are not 410 ga, even though they advertise being able to fire them. Shotgun caliber pistols are illegal (barrel under 18"). They are 45 Colt that just happen to accept a 410 shell (loosely).
  14. Found this among a box of misc ammo. Is it 32 rimfire?
  15. I got to shoot one of those when Tom from Cadiz Gun Works was up for a "pumpkin shoot". With subsonic ammo, it wasn't bad. Maybe not quite as good as a "real" suppressor, but still pretty darn good.
  16. The point is even if he missed, you wouldn't hear a suppressed 22, so you wouldn't hold up your TV dinner tray. LOL
  17. A friend of mine died last month. I was with him when he purchased one of these (a chopped down version). Paid like $10k for it, if I recall. I suspect his widow will probably want to sell it. Going to find out more about it later this month. She's staying with her family overseas for the month.
  18. Just general shooting, I like slugs. Evaporating melons, pumpkins and such, I like heavy birdshot or light buck. If I'm letting someone else shoot my ammo, I like the cheap bulk Federal birdshot. *Edit* Wanting to get a Lee slug mold to make cheap slugs. Haven't yet.
  19. Scored 1,000 Shotgun 209 primers for just over $22.00

  20. You're welcome. I'm actually hoping people will post REAL muzzle attachments in this thread. I'm interested in seeing what's out there.
