  1. Hooked up with Brian online a couple weeks ago and placed an order for a front sight block, bayonet lug, '74 brake and M9 bayonet for my S12 plus one of those badass t-shirts he sells. The parts are freaking awesome and fit like glove. Shipping couldnt have been any faster either, i got an e-mail saying aprts were shipped on a Saturday, and they arrived on my door step the following Monday. I had to install everything today of course... Absolutely love it
  2. Dinzag. It's definitely the cleanest looking of all the FSB's out there. Is he still doing AK/S12 stuff? Edit; Let's see if this works...(Been pimping Dinzags FSB for years) http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?/search/&q=dinzag&author=mullet man&search_and_or=and&sortby=relevancy
  3. Dinzag makes clean, solid, well machined, "exotic" pieces that no one else does. In the world of Tactical rails and all that bullshit, Dinzag keeps it real....yo. Not sure what you mean by "any luck" though. The '74 brake is an appearance piece. If it has any effect at taming muzzle rise, it would be from the little bit of added weight rather than gas dispersion. I'm okay with that.

  6. Irons? Krebs rear ghost ring, Dinzag front sight block. But really what are you wanting to use them for?
  7. It's normal from what i've experienced. I have had the standard short FSB (discontinued) and now the deluxe short FSB from Dinzag and both have had to have the front post screwed way down to get it to line up right. That was with the factory rear pistol sight. Now i have a peep sight in the rear and was able to screw the front sight post up a smidgen. http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?/topic/79541-need-new-iron-sights/?hl=dinzag&do=findComment&comment=794465
  8. LOL, Dinzag. Danzig is a "band" Dinzag does some nice work!
  9. Most likely too low, since they are made for the S12 pistol rear sight. Dinzag makes one that is slightly higher to work with an AK type leaf. That might be your best bet. Little more money but excellent quality.
  10. FYI, Brian of Dinzag, said he has in the works, a rear peep sight for his sight blocks but just hasnt had the time to test them. I hope he follows thru with it and it works with both the short and tall versions. I have his short front sight block and it looks a hundred times cleaner, installed then the Krebs offering, IMO. I would also guess that you'd need a tall front sight block for the Krebs rear peep. But i would talk to Dinzag and ask him, he'd know best i would think. He responds quick to e-mails.
  11. Here are my two Saigas, a 109 and a 132. Both done up for identical ergonomics. K-var Nato stocks, Ram trigger guards, Tapco FCG's, handguards and SAW grips. I've since switched to MD Arms Molotr grips. They are 100 times better (IMO) then the SAW grips that were installed! For the S12, M9 bayonet, lug, Dinzag front sight block and '74 brake are on the way from Dinzag Arms .
  12. Krebs is a clean single stamped piece with a nicely formed finger tab. And there is no real wait time to get one, aside from shipping. Dinzag does really nice work on a lot of things (I have a few of his parts), but his shipping and contact can be spotty at times. Tho he does come through. Functionally, they will do the same thing. I have Krebs safeties on all my AK's. They are just more aesthetically pleasing to me. No factory BHO, I'd do the safety mod then. I throw all my factory BHO's in the trash (figuratively). They're actually in a parts box in my desk.
  13. Sure looks like it has an adjustable gas block to me. Looks like an early Dinzag rear sight conversion.
  14. Theres some Russian wood in the market place, minus the butt stock. The Rusky wood pistol grip is tits and nipples compared to what's available in the US. Made for an iz109. The Russian stuff is nice and rare... Nice guns fellas! Digging the Dinzag parts on'em
  15. Dinzag does or did the same with his RSB setups for the s12 before the 030's were being imported. Modified rifle RSB welded to the iz109 gas tube sight block.
  16. I think I have 6 different saiga shirts. Tromix, CSS, two from Dinzag and two from juggernaut Izhmash logo shirts would be cool.
  17. My guess is no. The rear sight would be too high. You would be adding a second piece in place (css rail) that increases the height. Now a dinzag tall FSB might work with what you want to do, since it is designed for the higher rear AK leaf sight. If you have Krebs sights already, why do you want to add a rail in place to install another albeit it different, rear peep?
  18. Lol Make sure that flock of geese is flying low! What brake did you get, the '74 style? I think all the "brakes" he offers have an indexing detent for use with his front sight block. Ps, Dinzag sends those plastic plugs with every order and usually a pair of foam plugs. The one pair is for your ears to block out the screeching of the geese when they get hit by the other plugs. Pss, the plastic plugs are for holes in the receiver when you do a conversion.
  19. Dinzag Arms offers a machining service for those FSB's, to mate up to the thicker S.308 barrels. Check out his site for info.
  20. Couldn't agree more. Dinzag makes some very nice parts! Nice S12, looks a lot like mine except the muzzle device and no bayonet lug.
  21. TIME STAMP i'll take it via PM or topic reply TRUMPS ALL Payment by USPS money order only. Shipping will be by USPS Priority flat rate with delivery confirmation #. Buyer needs to follow up with contacting me, i will not chase you around. You have 24hrs to make contact with me or it goes back up for sale. I will cut price breaks on multiple items to the same buyer. Complete USED (~1500-2000rds) Saiga IZ132, 7.62x39 barrel assembly. Sharp rifling and nice chrome. No chamber step and it has the handguard retainer notches. Not sure if the muzzle is threaded. Stamped with a 3 to match
  22. Search Tapco G2. If you can't find it at a vendor on this forum (MAA, Dinzag, CSS etc. etc.) then try Amazon or the likes. I would look into an axis pin retaining plate as well. But yeah that's about it for parts. The rest is just tools to do the work.
  23. bumpdiggity new prices. $115 shipped for the AK builder press kit and both Go/No-Go head space gauges. $75 shipped for the Dinzag FSB kit. $50 shipped each for the Izzy pistol grips, or $90 shipped for the pair. $100 shipped for the FNH FNP45 High Noon Holsters, leather holster.
  24. The set screws on Dinzags FSB, 'deforming the barrel' is not an issue. You will bend the shit out of the allen key before you can ever get the screw tight enough to damage the barrel (personal experience). And they will hold it tight enough that it won't easily move around, or get knocked out of alignment. FYI, i have a short Dinzag FSB for sale, if interested, find my for sale thread on here for pics and info.
