kresk 10,063
Century has a special until the end of the month, $549 I believe.
kresk 10,063
Oops--just checked their website and they must have sold out in the past few days. Sorry.
misterT 174
I paid $650 for mine a two months ago I doubt if they will go any lower since PBO was relected. The local dealer here is asking $699 now, but you could try Dunhams they can order them.
sunnybean 939
Even if you find a 109 for $650 the one I linked above at KVAR is a much better deal. It comes direct from Russia just the way you want it. By the time you buy all the parts to convert the price will come out the same. The best part is you don't have four extra holes to plug or weld and the trigger guard is much better than just bolting one on.
Hudson Hornet 40
Classic has a converted one a little cheaper. Now what do they mean by low pressure shells? What is the best pressure to use? Slugs, or bird, skeet shot? Edited November 28, 2012 by Hudson Hornet
evlblkwpnz 3,418
Classic has a converted one a little cheaper. Now what do they mean by low pressure shells? What is the best pressure to use? Slugs, or bird, skeet shot? That converted S12 at Classic doesn't even come close to that factory original S12-07 at KVAR. The one at KVar was never in sporter configuration and has all Russian components. I would gladly pay a few more $ to get the factory Russian 12-07. It is a really good deal. At least with it, you get to chose which componenets you want to be made in the US, if you decide to run hi-cap mags. A US mag and a US FCG will make it 922r compliant. They mean weak bulk birdshot, in essence. Mine will run most commercially available ammo, outside of some low recoil loads, but I do a little work to them to make that happen reliably. There really is no "best pressure". Try loads until you find what it will cycle or get to work on making it run a wider variety of loads.
ammohawg 4
Saw a couple yesterday for $599 + tax for the 109's, $769 for the 030's

I am going to agree on this one...get the S12-07 from K-var.....I have a Classic converted S12...I should say it was a Classic converted gun...It has been gutted and rebuilt...and I will leave it at that. Save yourself the time and $$$ get the S12-07. I wish I would have.
filthygovemploye 64
Saw a couple yesterday for $599 + tax for the 109's, $769 for the 030's and where would that be??? let me peer into my crystal ball real quick.... can we make a sticky of current prices, etc on here? a place to keep good deals updated and general fun facts to know and tell? sjglaw 1
Picked one up new on gunbroker for $550 in an auction, no tax, $25 to ship----- have seen them going at gun shows for $670.00 plus tax. Any price under $600 is real good
kresk 10,063
Atlantic Firearms is having a sale on S12's--$599.
ndmak 10
hopefully that means some more cooler stuff is getting imported and they want to get rid of them before nobody wants them
gunfun 3,931
I'd love it if they became obsolete and were worth $300 each or less. Then I could justify nearly every permutation of saiga build.
ammohawg 4
Cabelas now is selling the S12 for $599. I received a Cabelas e-mail about it last night. Something must be coming down the pike. If Cabelas starts selling S12's it means they are either on end of life or insanely cheap. I also noticed they are selling CAI Zastavas as well so it could be they got a deal with Century on some clearance stuff. Cabelas has a store locator on their website if any of you don't happen to have a crystal ball. Edited December 4, 2012 by ammohawg

evlblkwpnz 3,418
At this rate, $1200 will be a good price for a sporterized S12. So glad I have a few already.
DNR 20
Mt Clemen's Gun and Knife show - $700 to $800 - sport version, non-converted. Saiga 12s. I got mine at $625.
Krtismo 1
I'm leaning towards an SGL 12-07. Is K-Var is the only place to get one? Also are they ever in stock there?
Dad2142Dad 6,559
are they ever in stock there? In today's world, might be iffy. If you find one, better pull the trigger quick.
Monte_Man 0
$649 picked up locally. also bought 3 - 10 rd promags and just ordered a md20 fyi 200rds federal 2 3/4 1 1/8oz on setting 2 no FTE's what so ever. performed flawlessly. I have been wanting one for years but had to pick it up before VERY near future weapons ban.
