  1. I am a past LEO. I currently own my own small business that did not turn a profit this year. Seems that is happening to many these days. Since the only education/experience I have is in the car business and law enforcement I may soon have to take some sort of a position in the law enforcement/corrections field to make ends meet. I am far from wealthy. If the transmission goes bad in my car I will certainly listen to the advice of a professional mechanic. Same with a doctor if I was ill. These are practical matters. My initial post on this thread was referring to matters of politics and to
  2. No Juggs...seeing as to how what the son of god was speaking for one who was not a man at all. And I'll spare everyone here the continued beating of a troll with a dead end job who lives in a dump of a house and eats his dogs medication to get high.
  3. Isn't it amazing that so many of the world's largest civilations built population centers around active volcanos. Even today with advanced scientific proof that these "stone cones" are going to go "POW" someday people still cling to these geographic locations. Mexico City for example. I don't quite get it.
  4. A man who has to read the words of another man or follow the thoughts of another man to find his way is not a real man at all. All men blaze their own path.
  5. I too am guilty as charged. It is the favorite site of my family and friends. The Internet is everywhere and free in many places. I recently had two family members in critical care units in different hospitals. The family was allowed to use computers and the wireless service provided by the hospitals to communicate with other family members and friends but cell phones were not allowed into the ward. Not sure just why that is so but it enabled communication where a cell phone was not allowed. And pictures can be sent free which my cell phone provider gouges the hell out of me for. Facebook allo
  6. It would be a little hard to plug a car/airplane/boat...ect, into a geothermal pocket and travel anywhere. Just joking...hydrogen technology looks very promising and eco friendly. Fossil fuels are just the most convenient form of energy we know how to harness affordably. It sure would be interesting to live another 50 years to see what man comes up with to solve this problem.
  7. Thought I would throw this out there just as an afterthought. What nation on our planet has the oldest original surviving form of government? The answer to this should make all on here who think America is secure within itself to rethink their position. I do not want anything bad to happen to my country but most every civilation/country/government in history has eventually torn itself apart and likeminded individuals gather together to form different nations/governments. All but the youngest nations which has not yet stood the test of time.
  8. Bounce, as the OP you posted a scenario lacking in detail. I simply do not know what sort of scenario your are dreaming up in your head. The word "war" was used. A simple neighborhood dispute even involving firearms does not make a war. In a real war you and I will not matter to a hell of beans. The so-called war in Iraq is about nothing but overthrowing a foreign government and replacing it with a friendly government. Basically oil in my opinion. I know the reason given was terrorism but that is a glass of Koolaid I refuse to drink. As for which major superpower...take your pick. neither
  9. A picture is worth a thousand words. Most individuals have no idea the devastation and trauma a gunshot wound does to human flesh. And pictures of game animals shot does not seem to sink in. Search the Internet for wounds caused by modern air rifles in the 12-28 FTE catagory. They do more damage than many powder burners are aware of and kill people every year. That would be a great picture for safety courses Nalioth.
  10. In a real honest to goodness war where a major superpower(s) would be trying to overwhelm the United States then small arms would be next to useless. And do you really believe the United State Military and the various National Guard units will allow citizens to roam the street with small arms? Absent the proper uniform or simply being present in the wrong location will get one dead real quick. Even in a major civil uprising within the United States, after the domestic police forces are overwhelmed, the military will come in force and clamp down on any and all non-cooperative citizens, disa
  11. Here is a picture of Kyla's baby. His name is Alex Daniel Paz. He is a very lucky boy to have a mother with proven uncommon valor. My wife has that "I want another baby" look in her eyes.
  12. I have a 28 year old Niece (Kyla) who found out she had a 4 inch malignant tumor sitting on top of her heart about 10 months ago. To make matters worse she was also 2 months pregnant. This is her first pregnancy and she had been trying for over 7 years to have a child. The doctors wanted to abort the child and start treating her immediately. She refused to do anything or even take any medication for pain just in case it would harm the baby. At 7 months they took the baby boy and he is doing fine. Unfortuantely Kyla is not. The tumor growed to 10 inches long and has wrapped itself around her he
  13. I think your wife has a pretty grasp of the nature of men Waffenschmied. And Barack does seem a bit light in his shoes. Even if some of Obama's femininistic mannerisms are being misjudged he would have to think twice before chasing tail on Michelle's watch. She is a large woman with larger than average muscle bellies. Basically, a mesomorph. Most champion wrestlers, bodybuilders and powerlifters have this type of build. If she goes ghetto on Obama he had better run behind some large SS Agents. And many women seem to think it was okay for Tiger's wife to whack him upside the head with the golf
  14. Damn! Some of you guys have really been f**ked-up. I've never had a broken bone or an injury that caused undo pain. I've had stitches several times but that stuff does not hurt. I got chiggers on my balls when I was around 8 which seemed like agony to me back then.
  15. The economy is impacting more than law enforcement departments. Fire departments are laying off or simply not filling previous funded positions through attrition. Crime labs are short staffed and cannot keep up with the workload in a timely manner. Criminal cases are being triaged and prosecutors are forced to give lenient plea bargains to defendants. Prisons are full and tax payers are fed up with footing the bill. But I do have one tiny bit of good news. Apparently the Internal Revenue Service is gearing to beef up the service with the largest mass hiring in years. From what I have been told
  16. I have to agree with elvis christ. Hard working citizens pay through taxes doled out in the various titled welfare programs set up by the federal, state, and county/city government programs to raise children born to deadbeat fathers and mothers. Welfare, government assistance, or whatever phrase you wish to define it by has become a way of life to these people. While I feel sorry for the children, we are not doing many of them any good in the long term when they start to believe the government owes them food, shelter...ect. Give a man a fish and feed him for a day...teach a man to fish and he
  17. Vow of poverty, isn't that the truth. That is why many police officers have 2nd jobs. And get ready to experience the worst prejudice in our society. Citizens against law enforcement. I used to tell african americans they had no idea what real prejudice was until they put on a police uniform. Heck, african american police officers I knew would talk about how they would become shunned by many of their african american friends after the became LEO's. Many, not all, but many people just think you are just looking to arrest them. I had family and friends who treated me very differently after I joi
  18. Glock. Not that the others aren't fine weapons but I just know Glocks. Carry a 22 now but wish it were my old 17.
  19. Corruption happens in all professions and continues to happen all the time. Just putting the final touches on a investigation where it looks like a county assessor falsified documents and gave false (very low) assessments to real property owned by himself and family members. And it has been going on for several years. This one should go off like a miniture A-bomb. People just never learn.
  20. I really haven't paid all that much attention to the argument about President Obama's birth location. Perhaps I should. I'm curious who's responsibility it is to investigate such matters? If Barack Obama did not have to prove his country of birth prior to running for President of the United States then who dropped the ball. If Obama and his political cronies have somehow deceived us what is the process for him to be removed. Since the judicial branch weighs matters of constitutionality, and the United States Constitution states the President must be a natural born citizen, is it their responsi
  21. fasdfs...I found the video you posted to be humorous. And the new health care reform argument seems to be more about the redistribution of monies than actual health care. I also think the rule of law is the very fabric which keeps the United States of America the oldest surviving Republic in the World. And with that being said, United States Citizens should never have to prove their president, or any elected leader, is a citizen or not. That burden rests entirely on the shoulders of the candidate who either holds the office, or is seeking election. This is "OUR" country. Not BHO's. I believe B
  22. I have never, ever visited that part of this website. Perhaps some threads I have commented on have been moved there but I really have no idea. A real fight club would be an annual Saiga-12.com convention. Typed words not allowed. Just the "guns" men have hanging off of their shoulders and a cage of some design to house the members who dislike each other. Primitive...perhaps! But when the big dogs showed up the little dogs would hush their yapping. Hell, Saiga-12.com could sell tickets for charity. And I think it should be called trash talk forum. Fighting is an honorable art...trash talk with
  23. It seems I'm having a hard time trying to communicate what I mean. We are all flawed and make mistakes regardless of training or what type of uniform (or lack thereof) we may wear. Ask Pat Tillman's family...and the subsequent cover-up. Does that mean the entire United States Military is a corrupt, incompetent organization? Absolutely not. It does mean humans make mistakes and are not always truthful afterwards. Pat Tillman was killed in a friendly fire incident which happens often in war. Tragic, but as long as men quarrel with firearms accidents will happen, wrong decisions will be made. Off
