  1. Huge congrats to the both of you. If she is anything like her soon to be hubby, then you are both going to do great Now, about that bachelor party
  2. ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ What they all stated. Keep it and save for others.
  3. The streets would be a whole lot safer if everyone followed your example KTCM
  4. That's why you put your hand in a plastic bag when shooting a semi-auto handgun during drive-by's! It catches the shell for you And to think that I thought everyone knew this....Rookies
  5. I'm totally stuck in the middle on this one. I am old enough to appreciate the classic lines, but young enough to use all of the new modern tactical accessories. So, I compromised and have purchased or built numerous variations of both
  6. Hell yeah dude, that sounds great. Whats his screen name? Just go down to the forum sponsors near the bottom of the main page and you will find "The Vest Guy" You can PM or call him from there. If you PM him, it might take him a few days to get back with you, but the wait will be worth it. Calling may be faster for you.
  7. We never lied. You just can't read. I'm not surprised. I bet you even put your tampoons in backwards. Drug addicted? If you want to see drug addicted show your mother a $5 peice of crack and see what she does. Don't forget to take all your friends with you though. She's a favorite of me and my friends. Tell her I said, "HI." Ask her if she's still mad at me... Yes, I'm calling you a crybaby... And a bitchboy! Like I said crybaby, I have been losing a lot of sleep worring about your joke ass!!! Do you want me to send you and all your badass friends a link from goog
  8. Although I do not own one (I'm an STI person), I do know many that do including my Dad. They are well built for the price and seem to function very well. Besides, it's a 1911 and if there is something that you do not like then you can just change it. I say go for it
  9. Jay, Another option would be to contact one of the forum sponsors here "The Vest Guy" and have him build whatever you want and to your specs. He makes custom vests, bags, pouches, etc. that are high quality and reasonably priced. Just another option for you.
  10. Although I have never used the services of Estaban or Go-Gun, I do know many people that have and most are still waiting and waiting and waiting. Therefore, if you can stand up for this company (without being an employee, your words), then others can stand up for the waiting customers whom have paid money for guns from this company. Fair is fair, right! I understand delays, but seriously, this seems on the extreme end of things here. I will leave it at that and say no more about that issue. One thing that I did notice and will comment on though is your mixed wording. Maybe it is just m
  11. Shooter, Congrats on the move and I hope that everything goes as planned. Here is to a safe and uneventful move to the South. BTW, I would love to be present when you get your first sweet tea sugar buzz. I can still remember mine
  12. DaveM, Nice pistol you have there and congrats on Fathers Day. Glad to see you using the "Keepsake" terminology. It worked for me in the past and I hope it will continue to work in the future
  13. That is standup for you right there. Good on you Dirty
  14. Some good advice from Dirty about some of the accessories. If you want a really good set of rings and are not afraid to spend some money on quality, then look into a set of Badger rings (sorry, I don't have their link). They are a little spendy, but they will not move once set. Hope that helps and have fun with the new rifle.
  15. + 1 for you DB I know that reliving/recalling the initial trigger press has always had a much more profound effect on me later then it did when it occurred. As I have stated before, the best shots that I have ever made were the ones that allowed me to go home to my family. Good topic Cameron.
  16. +1! They're rugged as hell to boot, fires both .357 mag and .38 spl, big enough to tame recoil, but small enough for purse carry. I'd pick the 3" barrel over the 2" barrel if possible. I thinks I y'am in LOVE! Ruger SP101. Great gun and I have never had it fail me. My wife carries it occasionally in her purse and has never complained about the weight.
  17. This is the correct answer right here. You may suffer some sort of minor hearing loss from the event, but you will not know it at the time. I had to work up a lesson plan for a training segment in our department and all of the calculated results showed that 75% of officers involved in gunfights, both indoors and outdoors, could not recall hearing anything at the time. Most (60%)could not even advise the number of rounds fired during the incident. Some officers could recall hearing the shots, but lacked detail in other areas such as peripheral vision and clarity. The majority of the officers
  18. Thanks again Sal, but I must insist on one more thing to be included. I want that sock in the first picture
  19. I wish that I could be there Rob, but unfortunately not this time. Maybe when I get back out for a visit in the fall. I hope that you guys have a blast
  20. Which is kind of ironic because so is the design of the gun... Very nice looking Tony and your attention to detail on this piece is beautiful. I'm almost scared to know how many drunken napkin concepts have ended up in the trash can with you guys. All of the manufacturers here on this forum never cease to amaze me
  21. Dogman, Yeah, you were reading more into it than intended, but it is all good. I pretty much figured out what you were trying to say and actually agree with you. In the grand scheme of things, it does not matter what my personal beliefs are in the matter. I do appreciate the above comment though and much respect back to you Cooger was correct in his statements about alot of officers around the country. Many officers do not like to see all of those big nasty machines of death in the hands of "Mortals" and would like to see them go away. Obviously, I DO NOT share their views and th
  22. Jim, If an AR15 is not out of the question, then you could check out one of the Carbon 15's from Bushmaster. They come in just over five pounds or so. Just a thought
