  1. I mean no offense when I say this, but don't expect to make a splash in the market if you don't bring anything different to the table. Tapco and promag (more the former) have a good grip on the polymer only USA AK magazines. US palm has started to listen, but charge a fair amount, and still don't offer a full steel cage or removable floor-plate. If you don't wanna copy the waffle pattern, no problem, just make it so that you can get a solid grip on the magazine. Hell, worst case scenario I'll slap some board tape on a slippery magazine body to give that added grip Steel Cage Bulgarian
  2. Look at the circle 10 design. Make it American and drop the price a few dollars and you'd have a money maker. DO NOT mold the floor plate to the magazine body.
  3. It's not bull, it removed the results from google shopping. Too bad, I really enjoyed using google and google chrome.
  4. AGP makes a decent folder as well. on the plus side, no mods needed to use it with the takedown.
  5. Home defense and deer generally have nothing in common... unless But seriously, most don't judge their home defense caliber on if you'd go hunting with it.
  6. If you live in an apartment, birdshot is alright, but for a residential home #4 buck is the lowest I'll go.
  7. lol, you damn well better have reinforced that floor XD. after about 50-60 years of storage there may be a few hang fires if you don't store it right, but most will shoot just fine; basing this on 1950s mosin ammo.
  8. "Juggernaut" definitely describes that stock's size, but I've never really been sold on any bullpup conversions that are out on the market. IMO a bullpup really needs to be designed from the ground up as a bullpup, not squeezed/cut to fit into a polymer aftermarket stock with a shitload of rails on it. I don't know any M1A fans who would ever be really hyped about turning their gun into a fat midget for $900.
  9. Shop towels are amazing and I'd be lost without them, Paracord, Duct tape... I really need to stop listing all the crap on my desk. Either that or get a toolbox.
  10. Lesson from that picture? Beards are apparently zombie proof.
  11. White women seem to be attracted to me from time to time. Perhaps you just miss being attractive to women? I'm married, thanks. I just find the younger generation of white women disgusting in their interracial bullshit. Well, you've shown yourself for what you are. you can form a club with DaneAxe. Just don't get any on the rest of us. I think the avatar was a pretty good representation of that . . .
  12. Quick and easy mods: 1) Power custom hammer brings it down to a nice and manageable pull weight. 2) I love the PWS extended magazine release. 3) BX-25 magazines are a long awaited gem. 4) Auto bolt release makes the BHO easier to use, but can be done with some careful filing on the original piece. 5) Tech sights, because great irons are better than ok irons. A scope could also work well. The stock barrel is great for a plinker. The only reason you should be dropping some serious coin on a .920 barrel is if you dig the looks, or you plan on going for a suppressor. I'm sa
  13. Being able to push someone in the pool without having to worry if I'd have to replace a $300+ phone. When I could take a road trip and have it cost less than a flight. When I could fly without being molested. And I'm going pretty far back now, but having gills would be pretty sweet.
  14. I've heard great things from this place. I usually go to Markham, but I'm a little sick of all the range officers barking orders at everyone. http://www.popsrange.com/
  15. I subbed to see where else you're gonna go. I liked the breakdown style and general flow your vids had.
  16. It's from this page; http://www.surplusrifleforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=66086
  17. Here's a pic of the meprolight front and rear for your viewing pleasure.
  18. My mosin's interrupter groove required quite a bit of fitting and fine tuning, but a dremel and some patience took care of that. After installing some pillars and bedding with JB Weld with Kiwi polish, it can shoot 2-3 MOA (give or take) with mil-surp ammunition. Mine really likes the heavy ball. Also, if you want a better trigger pull, it's safer and easier just to buy a Finnish trigger set and a trigger return spring. I've got a scout set up currently, but I'd really consider going with a rock solid mount if I wanted the utmost accuracy. Sporterizing isn't ruining anything; hell, my spor
  19. There are 3 main options if you ask me. I can't provide any links due to none of them being forum members, but that's why google exists. 1) The Rock Solid Industries scope mount is best for a traditional scoped rifle set up. An alternative could be the Jmeck scope mount, but it doesn't seem nearly as solid as a drill and tap mount. 2) The Brass Stacker (scout) scope mount allows you to still use your irons in tandem with an LER scope. I've got this one and it's been more than solid. 3) The last option is to knock off the rear sight and use the 11mm dovetail that it rides on t
  20. I've only tried the meprolights. They worked for me and weren't too obtuse.
  21. Guns are like prostitutes. If you ask how much a good one costs, you can't afford it.

  22. Quick and easy slugs. They won't be as accurate as a foster's, but it'll get the job done.
