  1. Well if I was going to, it would certainly have to be one that will actually BE a bottle opener.
  2. C'mon, Man. I was gonna get $70 for that! :lolol:
  3. Far enough that the action is RELIABLY cycled each and every time, without over-gassing which can cause damage to the gun.
  4. Just send me the $70. I send you an actual working bottle opener.
  5. Just don't believe it if they ask if anyone is interested in being a tester.
  6. ETA, Did you add a bunch of stuff to the gun during conversion?? certain items have been known to cause cycling issues mainly the UTG quad rail and i think a few others but i dont know what. You should make sure it is back to stock config. befor doing anything else(aside from conversion parts) ETA, OOPS!!! qouted myself. Thas funny :lolol:
  7. Unfortunately, they are either out of, about to revamp, or going out of business, nor are they a vendor. Nor do they ever update their domain when they were in business. They had saigas listed for months when they really only had the s308. AS of this morning..... DATELINE EARLY SATURDAY JAN 22ND 2011 ONLY TIME FOR A QUICK UPDATE, SO FORGIVE THE REST OF THE SITE FOR REMAINING THE SAME UNTIL MONDAY. AS OF LATE YESTERDAY, A NEW MANAGER HAS BEEN HIRED TO TAKE OVER THE DAY TO DAY OPERATIONS OF CLASSIC ARMS. HE HAS BEEN COMMISSIONED BY THE OWNERS TO MAKE THIS COMPANY BETTER, STRONGER,
  8. I bought one for theft protection. I opted not to get the fire proof because it's really not. I didn't feel 1/2 hour (which is the MOST common rating) would make a damn bit of difference if my house was fully ablaze, given where I live. I also opted for tumbler combination because I don't have faith in electronic devices. Mechanical locks can be repaired much easier and less costly, too. After a LOT of shopping I ended up with a Stack-On because it was on sale in the price range I wanted to pay. Comparison wise, I would honestly say that it is of good to better quality than others in the price
  9. I got mine at Classicarms. That was before I knew there are board sponsors, or I would have gone that way. Anyway Classicarms was great to do business with and would do business with them again.
  10. The shorty I have on the HP 99TS in this picture is 3" from the rail or a 3 finger grip. It works well and has storage for an extra battery under the pull out plug (that fits very tight). I got it off ebay for around $7. http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?app=gallery&module=images&section=viewimage&img=3360
  11. I bet it would work just fine on pigs.

    Custom artwork

Seriously talented! He must be a good friend.
  13. A couple updated photos with the Poly-choke I got for Christmas, a 10 round mag, and my other baby. I also polished the bolt carrier.
  14. You didn't waste anyone's time. It's good to have someone that will share basic function with the less mechanical minded. Personally I give you a lot of props for having the patience to help people by explaining the same things that have been gone over repeatedly in the forum. Actually, I thought this part was there to start the hammer reset action, when the bolt carrier is traveling rearward, to put the hammer at a rearward angle and lessen the wear on the back of the bolt carrier. Now I see it has two functions.
  15. Mine came with three .078 factory ports, but they have been enlarged to .093 and it made all the difference in the world.
  16. No matter what we might say, we can't make them have common sense.

    New Saiga 12

How do you like it? Wish they sold the stock without the handguard....for my .308 Saiga You don't have to use the handguard.

    New Saiga 12

I had one of those for a short time. S'ok I suppose.
  19. After you shoot it a bit it'll be easier to adjust.
  20. I can't speak on Arsenal, but CSS has RAA for $499.00 -5% member discount.

    IRON REAR SIGHTS

I think it's probably the gas block (the part where the front sight is) is canted. Search for posts about it and read about it. If you don't think you can do the the work I see about warranty service. This problem has been addressed here many times.
  22. There is so much input here already on this subject, all you have to do is read it.
  23. Takes alot of arm strength to do what you were trying to do at the end. Don't worry about it too much. It's a two handed gun. Good looking gun and nice video.
  24. I just shot them out, very rapidly because I could.
