  1. Hey guys, I have a few questions that I would appreciate some help with. They just aren't clear to me as this is my first form 1. in section 1 e, asking the length of my bbl, do I want to give a current measurement or would I put that I want to cut the bbl down to 10 inches? in section 1 f, asking the overall length, where do I begin and end measuring? in section 4 h, asking about additional description of numbers and identifying data, do i need to put anything else other than the serial number that was asked in section 1 g? in section 4 i, asking why I intend to make this fire
  2. Ahhh yes, Ive been thinking of doing this FOREVER. This is exactly why I feel that its necessary to have a laser on my Saiga. When I fold my stock and am firing from the hip (with a drum of course) I always thought that it would be much easier with a folding horizontal grip like the TDI or CAA folders. I can imagine needing to do this with stick mags because...well every 10 rounds you'll be in the middle of a reloading action which is much slower from the hip than on the shoulder. The laser on my TLR-2 would make hip shooting accurate, until I actually got a feel for where my effective shot pa
  3. Hey brothas, im still planning my NFA conversion. I was just curious if anybody had a knowledgeable opinion of which gas port modification is more reliable. If my gun has three holes under the gas block is it better to have a fourth one drilled or just have the three existing ports enlarged? I hope your Christmas was as good as mine!
  4. That was Awesome! Merry Christmas!
  5. Wow, +1 man. That's great! Great Job! and also a MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone!
  6. Man oh man do I love my TLR-2. Nice, solid, guaranteed construction, laser and light combos (momentary on and on), pressure switches for pistols and long arms, AND it didn't break the bank.
  7. Lol I used to love that damn cartoon. I think he means factory issue.
  8. Silicone implants in my body? LOL that'll be the day that hell freezes over and Satan and Jesus go out for a night on the town looking for loose woman and more Samuel Adams to get the taste of hooker spit outta their mouths. Please forgive me Jesus. But seriously, all jokes aside, the grenade launcher pad does a really great job of making even the most powerful shells much much more comfortable to shoot all day long.
  9. I have the KVAR folding polymer stock with the compartment for the cleaning kit and the metal buttplate. And on top of that in my area i can only shoot slugs at the range so Winchester super x is pretty much all of my ammo. I had to shoot my gun after I me and my pops finished the folder trunion (that spring is a bit*h!) and folding stock installation since I was so happy it was closer to being finished. I didnt have a recoil pad at the time. I bought the grenade launcher pad and havent looked back since, but am now thinking that the Limbsaver might be worth trying, if I can somehow g
  10. Yeah man, check out CHAOS, Cameron makes some pretty nice stuff. Ive got his quad rail to replace the old HALO I bought. His rail is definitely awesome quality, I'm sure he makes a pretty slick looking everyday break.
  11. Funny thing, I just picked up 20 rounds of this buckshot for testing purposes. I'm going to the range tomorrow and test two AGP mags out and let you know my results. They are a bit longer than the winchester super x that i normally shoot, so it wouldn't surprise me.
  12. Pretty good idea using the velcro, i might have to try that out. Slick is right.
  13. So I can sit on a 19 inch s12, acquire the tax stamp and convert it whenever I feel like it? I don't have to complete the manufacture within a set time frame? That would rock, because I am aware that I would need to have my three ports widened slightly or a forth port would have to be drilled, and I don't have the know how to press off a gas block yet but I think Cobra can do it, I'd ask him if I wanted to do it myself. Honestly though I want so many other things done that I DONT feel confident about doing that i'll probably send it to Jammer or somebody with all the parts I want.
  14. That prick. Hopefully it wont get passed but I hoped BHO wouldn't win either . That being said, I have little time left to act. BHO gets inaugurated 1/20/09....It is 11/25/08. Among the list of mods for my s12, the one that has probably been untouched the longest is to sbs to 10 inches. I was looking into ordering all the ATF paperwork today and I think I can squeeze a ten inch outta my gun before that fool and all of his cronies take command. The question: What is FASTER? To send it to a qualified gunsmith through a licensed dealer, or to chop the bbl off myself (which im fairly
  15. I am not familiar with this FH, but if its not threaded then yes it would have to be welded onto the bbl.
  16. I think that lightning bolt charging handle is pretty cool but almost useless for anybody that bought one when cobra releases his LRBHO and mike releases his magwell....but that rk95 charging handle is pretty nice.
  17. Ohhhhh man Javelin, ive wanted to do my s12 like your sbs for TOO LONG now. I still have the HALO but the top part is cracked along one of the holes. Now ive got as CHAOS handguard, it seems more durable but i miss the weight and the size of the HALO. Looking good! Go ten inch prebans!
  18. That's the problem. No use in sending this downrange if it wont hit what your aiming for.
  19. Yeah really.........this has to be the first time, somebody must have known it would happen eventually.....they put a ninja with bugged out eyes in the smileys section................ Ive never used that ninja before.
