    Title really says it all. I started out shooting slugs from my S12. Then went mostly to birdshot. (walmart Fed bulk pack). A little buckshot thrown in there. But now I'm getting the urge to stock up on slugs. Any pointers on good sources for cheapish slugs? Just for range fun. Yes, walmart is an option, but anything else? Thanks! (2 S12's waiting for the action...)

    From the poll results, I'm a bit surprised how young the people here are. At 45, I guess I'm an old-time (well almost). I do -however - fight in the "35 and up" class....

    For my liability-only insurance on two vehicles, Geico gives me a much better price than the rest. They also crushed Progressive's price for my gf (she previously had progressive). So in my neck of the woods at least, if you've got a good driving record and are younger-middle aged, Geico seems to be lower priced than the competition. Good enough for me.

    These are some nice mags from AIM at a good price: http://www.aimsurplu...ines&groupid=15 I picked up 4, and I'd say they are in "like new" condition. Really don't seem to have ever been used. And CONGRATS! Nice rifle. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

    I've always used loctite for that and similar applications. I assumed everyone did. I don't see any negatives. Highly recommended!

    Yeah , JeffD's thread is quite good. I used that as a guide. His link was posted a couple posts up already. It should probably be a sticky or a FAQ answer.... (still happy my 2nd S12 came with three good sized and exposed ports, No mods necessary!)
