ya super sluggers are about all i use because of the ranges being a bunch of wimps and walmart always seems to have enough to cover my appetite for a day of shooting!

Well i would be willing to bet a lot of money on the person shooting the gun was A) felon B.)no firearms training.

So I do valet part time while going to school. Last night was insanely busy downtown St.Petersburg. I was lucky enough to leave at 10:30. The guy who almost went home instead of me felt something hit his back. He thought it was a friend hitting him. Pretty soon he started bleeding. After going to the hospital it was determined he was hit in the side by a .22. It was determined that it struck him from an upward angle. He was ok but, was told by the doctor he needs to see a specialist to have it removed even though its not dangerous to leave in there.Chalk up another point for idiots in Florida!

Going hunting for the first time this sunday. I want to take the s12to hopefully get my first hog. Question is am i better off taking the s12 or sks? S12 specs: unconverted, 24" with monster brake and quad rail. Was planning on 1oz slugs 2 3/4 Sks: stock with quad rail, cannot remember the ammo right off hand but, it is hunting ammo. Might pick up a red dot but, im confident using iron sights. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

I have a 53 russian sks. Thinking about putting a shernic bullpup stock on it. It came with a piece of crap monte carlo. Thing has never once jammed on me and has been beat to hell everytime I shoot it.

I have that NC star case for my sks. My s12 has a 24" barrel it will not fit in that that case to save its life. The case is built nice and seems pretty durable.

LOL! You dont ever hear of much quality work being done in a 7-11 parking lot. Good thinking though!

There is a gun shop that does this by me. I really dont think its that durable of a coating. Its like a sheet of plastic film they put on it and then it is acitvated by water or chemicals. Your probably better of wrapping the factory stock with camo duct tape (carefully of course)

I have thought about this before but, wasnt sure if the scrap yard would take them.

I shoot indoors mostly because there is one outdoor range by me but, they make you shoot sitting down if its a long gun. Yes I get a lot of attention when I slap a drum full of slugs and empty out. Wish i could find a place that would allow birdshot though.

Think I may make my own as Iam going to school for welding and I pretty much have all the tools available to do this project. Now to run it by my instructor....

Sorry to bring this back from the dead but, what about the handguard retaining plate? Would I have to get one from dinzag? Or can I sue one from any ak?
