Zero problems running SGM mags in my 030. Maybe you guys could replace the lrbho lever with after market or 030 lever? Lets seem some pics, what are the differences

Okay first of all it could be a stuck firing pin is what I mentioned. Second the Tapco hammer will not affect the lockup distance because the distance is affected and determined by the length of the spur.... the vast majority of AKs that kaboomd were original 47s with no rate reducer.

I was kind of hoping back in 2009 that 5.45 never caught on. I miss paying about a hundred dollars for a thousand rounds of one of the best small arms calibers.

Cleaning is mandatory on any gun I shoot corrosive mil surp out of. Anything else gets the quick bore snake treatment unless I know I wont be shooting for a while.

Get one of the slip on recoil pads. You'll be shooting 000 buck all day.

I think the tens are perfect with the twelves being just a little too long. I would just use the tens and have 10 plus one instead of eight plus one.. It's never a good idea to stretch out the spring..you'll kill it. Your best bet is seeing if the 12 rounders are longer

even factory mags sometimes need fitment..the guns are not all the same spec.

How are those old cheap gen1 nv optics? Good enough to hunt hogs at night from about 30 yards in?

I didn't know Kalashnikov was dead... Impossible for AK's after the original 47 to fire before seating.. bolt carrier spur prevents this. - hammer would ride carrier spur until after bolt locks..unless firing pin jammed up. Unlikely.

You can reuse the trigger guard so save it. It fits under the mag catch and then gets bolted under the pistol grip. The tension created keeps it in place very very well. Use hilman hole plugs from lowes to plug the stock trigger pin holes. They're like $1 and look JUST like factory rivets. Just pop them in and done. I can take some pics if you want. Kvar ak74 stock and tapco plain ak grip and nut/ screw set work good. DO install a bullet guide. You may think its loading fine until you see how the bullets are pushed in the cases without a guide. Here:

Make sure the groves line up on the bolt face AND the bolt face of seated all the way forward. When you put the carrier in, make sure the rails are all the way to the back of the receiver and push firmly straight down. Take your time, you'll get a feel for it. I had the same problem when I got my first saiga 12, but with time and just eye balling it yourself, you'll get it. I'll upload a pic for you.
