Hey guys, i had a question about what i should do regarding these 2 five round promags i picked up. I know promag can be iffy but i figured what the hell ill give them a shot and if i ever take it hunting ill have a nice compact mag. When loaded up to 5 rounds you cant pull the charging handle back on the rifle at all, at four rounds you can he man it and get the ch back but it acts like it doesnt wanna feed, and at 3 or less you can manually cycle it with relatively no issues. Should i just load em up and let them sit for a couple weeks to break em in, should i file something down, or should

Cool voonman i appreciate it. And to the OP i have a m92 w the sb47 and 4pc flash hider and i agree with mancat, if i had to part with all but one it would be the m92 i kept. The only thing is though that i really like the dracos ability to take a tws dogleg rail/cover. I could easily see a rear peep and a qd red dot on a draco w a tws rail being awesome as hell!

Im thinkin capn' is right. I have a fime sgl 21 and theres no marks where the old trigger pin holes would have to have been welded up. I agree and think the fime groups guns are the same as arsenals, and yanked off the production line before the sporter trigger is installed.

If i had more funds and less of a wishlist of more guns i would definitely pick up common caliber rounds here and there even if i didnt have something that shot it. Per example, i got an email from sgammo showing 223/556 rounds lower than ive ever seen it before. Had to quit lookin because i almost bought a case w the justification that ill have a gun in 223 eventually its only a matter of time!

Mancat, how do you think this zastava 308 stacks up in terms of accuracy to a converted saiga 308 ver. 21? Seems like its a bit lighter from stated weight. How much does your pap 308 weigh in at? Thanks man i appreciate the input!

I got some xm 180cs (i think) 7.62x51 ammo and i noticed the same kinds of things you're seeing here. So far the s308 doesn't give a shit what it looks like, it just consumes and asks for more! I guess when i get a lil more into reloading i may find issues with the gnarly ones but even so, the majority should still be reloadable.

I have some ppu soft point but its not the round nose flavor, it is a pointed soft point. Its brass case/boxer primed and its relabeled from cabelas as herters brass case but has the ppu headstamp. Ive not run it through my saiga yet as i decided to go with the hornady sst rounds for hunting white tail. When i get around to it ill post results though!
