thanks for the info. i actually sat down and did some research. come to find out the t33 design is actually supposed to be stronger than the cz. who knew? a gentleman named clark magnuson did some experiments with the 2. he proceeded to load hotter and hotter loads, to see what was stronger. turns out that the cz rolling lock design makes a weak point in the chamber. Could be, it could also be that Clark Magnuson's study is the only one that I have found that seems to suggest this. I have shot a TT33 quite a bit and own a CZ VZ52. That is interesting! If the Czech barrel is larger then the Century hole it seems a simple matter to lathe it to correct size. For $25, plus machine work and installation it would be the way to go!

The human body can and does survive a lot. If you will notice there are not a lot of stories about people that were shot while wearing a vest, where the round struck the vest, but failed to survive. There are however a small number of stories that always seem to promote the idea that wearing a vest is useless. Those same type stories were told in prior conflicts to convince soldiers that there was no need to wear a helmet in battle. Each to his own, but I wear a vest.

I have a Mod done to one of my mags that I keep loaded. It is a cross pin with ring inserted in a hole drilled through the mag. This holds the rounds down and keeps them from being flattened against the bolt. You pull it out like a hand granade prior to use. I can not take credit for it, the mod was invented by another member whose name I forget (anybody, anybody? ) and the actual mod was first done for me by SaigatechUSA. I have done several since using some "hood" pins I found in a hardware store.

Most all drums are a compromise and are somewhat problematic in function. I did a good of tweaking and polishing on mine, and while not perfect, it runs pretty good!
