  1. I don't feel you wronged buyer in any way, the folding stock cutouts in the back should have made it obvious there would be latch cutouts in the front. Also why would he purchase it cut with for folding stock and only want the project half done. It seems he did not want a folding stock receiver at all, and did not realize it from the clear picture. He should have asked for more info if he was not sure what he wanted.
  2. a recoil reducing stock can make the shotgun less reliable as it increases the rearward motion of the shotgun under recoil, same effect as hip shooting. A muzzle brake will make it more reliable as it lessens the rearward motion
  3. Panic buying is actually good for most of us, it sends a strong message. The surge of nov 2008 and 2012 made national news coverage. It showed many people that it is not just a few Texans and the leaders of the NRA that support firearms ownership. The news stories had many accounts of first time gun owners, especially women, exercising their right to protect themselves. Sure, things will sell out everywhere, and some will price gouge, but that is the nature of the market. The selling out helps the entire industry, companies have more money to invest in more projects, more people become ex
  4. just don't cut so far that it is too thin and breaks, cut just enough that it clears disconnector. or compare disconnector to factory one and modify that, it might be easier.
  5. it is a problem with any safety capable of f/a fire, which is most of them, including krebs. Arsenal's come with a semi auto selector. here are pics of the difference f/a selector semi only selector the extra material on the F/A selector will push on the back of the tapco disconnector if the selector is rotated upwards past the stop on the topcover, when this happens the trigger is essentially pulled releasing the hammer. no other trigger groups I know of will allow this condition, and the tapco only does if used in conjunction with a f/a selector
  6. sorry I don't sell any trigger groups right now.
  7. yes, either a slant cut needs to be put in the back of the disconnector, like the vepr-12 has factory, to allow the selector to swing past disconnector without pushing it forward and releasing the trigger, or the selector needs to be modified to clear the disconnector. Otherwise a rare but dangerous situation can occur, where when the safety is turned on, it can either swing past the topcover, or pop the topcover open, and swing too far causing the weapon to discharge.
  8. I strongly advise that if you use a tapco trigger group, that you either modify the disconnector, or modify your selector, the vepr rifles and shotguns come with a standard f/a capable selector, which when used in conjunction with a tapco trigger group can cause an accidental discharge when attempting to put the rifle on SAFE.
  9. prefer 20" barrel also interested in 16" unconverted saiga 5.45x39 rifle.
  10. let me know if you are looking to get rid of the wood. I'd buy it or trade you for it. nice find btw
  11. we have them for the vepr shotgun as well http://www.bonesteelarms.com/Folding-Stocks_c10.htm the vepr-12/rpk version is what you need for the shotgun. we should have all models left and right galil and m4 available very soon, they are starting to pour back in from the anodizers.
  12. I have a question, does the front of the internal block sit solid against the trunnion when the screw holes are lined up?
  13. I would strongly suggest a rifle. A pistol is just a tool to get you back to your rifle. I would go with 7.62x39 as it is the most prevalent cheap ammo, wouldn't be that hard to add another caliber. A rifle has much more versatility than a pistol caliber carbine, and is also far more effective at any range, even than a .45 despite what hollywood implies.
  14. sounds good, I am sure everyone is as eager as I am to see the finished video.
  15. Actually it is aluminum not steel, but glad you are happy anyway, we can't seem to keep any of these on the shelves, it is consuming all our resources right now, hopefully we will get ahead of the game real soon, batches keep getting larger.
  16. not anytime soon. I am very happy with the prototype, but these are a huge investment I can't afford right away.
  17. Sweet video. Thats an awesome buttstock
  18. I suggest that you don't spend too much time trying to make the video perfect, or account for too many variables, or try to add numbers and that you just go with what you had, which is a nice visual representation of what to expect from the brakes. I think from a practical standpoint your original method will likely provide the best results, the only variable I would try to cut down on is the shooter, which can be minimized by more rounds fired, and in different orders(if you fire all the rounds with one brake then move to the next, shooter fatigue could make the last brake tested seem worse

  21. Awesome, looking forward to seeing the finished video. I think your method is quite clever and should accurately demonstrate brake performance. Only suggestions I would have is maybe 5 of each round with each brake to minimize shooter variables. Also accurate weight measurements of each brake, as that may be a factor in performance, and is definitely a factor in handling.
  22. left side is not available yet
  23. my factory mag, and both of my IZZYs drop free out of the box, if you hold the shotgun upside down, and release catch they will shoot right out of the magwell.
