  1. DUDE! Seriously, why do you need this kind of ammo this fast?!?!?! Inquiring minds want to know....that and I'm just a nosey rat bastard.
  2. First run drum customer here....gots mines in the mail yesterday. I haven't tried it out yet, but the fit/ finish is great. Thanks again Mike (and anyone else at MD Arms). Amazing products with 1st class costumer service.... I would not hesitate a second to buy from them again.
  3. I just finished building my saiga-12 this week and shot it for the first time in it's "assault" configuration..... Wow!!! The MD Arms drum functioned flawless.... And I have the bruised shoulder to prove it!
  4. I got my drum in the first run (order #EV-2579)....but still have not received my gas knob....just been waiting patiently. Should I have gotten it by now?
  5. I've personally seen two people shot in the face with birdshot. One 12G and the other 20G.... you could tell what gauge is was because the ME was able to pull the wad out of the brain goop. I'd say the birdshot did its job in these cases. With that said, my HD shotgun is still loaded with OO buck.
  6. Ugh. I placed an order with them back in the middle of December for an internal receiver block and folding mechanism....haven't heard shit from them and haven't been able to get anyone on the phone. On their website is just says "received". They have my money in hand, so what the fuck do they care if i get my product in a timely manner?
  7. All of this can be found with the search function..... And now for your viewing pleasure http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=87...g&q=izhmash
  8. I dont mean to say that the S-12 is total junk, because its not. It's a reliable design that has been proven over decades of global conflicts (the automat kalashnikov design). And when "modified" back into its assault configuration its a nasty gun that is brutally effective. This class of guns (automat kalashnikov) was designed to be cheap/ easy to manufacture and reliable in combat.... The S-12 receiver is made of stamped steel with a shitty paint job. The stock furniture is cheap 'plastic'.....IMHO, and it is just an OPINION, this gun is NOT worth a cent over $600 in its STOCK configurat
  9. this thread was started the other day and has a link to a shop w/ S-12's in stock. I think this is the best price you are going to find. http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=33354 .... A shop up the street has S-12's in stock for $799....Fucking bastards... this gun a a POS and is not worth $800 in its bone stock configuration (don't get me wrong the Saiga is awesome, but not $800 awesome).
  10. A bit high? HA! A shop around here has a few on the wall for $799
  11. Anyone have an idea what order # Mike-D is up to? I'm moving at the end of the month...guess I should go ahead and update my addy.
  12. Thanks for the info. Order placed, and 200 rounds of OO buck on its way....gettin ready to take this recession/ depression head on!
  13. Is JB weld a viable option? Or would that be too much of a hack-job?
  14. In that bill, I dont think its so much as they are buying wooden arrows with our money....as they are extending tax breaks to manufacturer(s) of wooden arrows....
  15. Why would you want to mod a mag to hold less rounds? Just askin.
  16. First of all, wow. Those guys suck! On topic: I have two ProMags for my Bursa 380....and I have never had a single problem with them in like 500 rounds....but then again, they're only 8 round single stacks. I'll give um a shot with no worries.
  17. Wow. california sucks. I mean, california really fucking sucks.... sorry, thats the only input I have for this thread. (good effort btw)
  18. That is a NASTY shotgun you got there!
  19. Oh man! I cant wait to call my dealer in TX tomorrow to see if I'm one of the lucky few to get the saiga-12 that I've had on backorder for the past 3 months... I already paid them $460 for it (card was charged months ago)....but was told that the price *might* go up and they would let me know.....I wont pay a dime over $600....and even at that I will be hesitant to pay 600 bones..... we'll see
  20. I guess I could use a new buttstock too....this furniture is getting a little old and "worn"
