DogMan 2,343
It sounds incredible, but it's true. Here's a small story from MSN news: "It's been reported that NASA is going to bomb the moon Friday morning. They are going to launch a missile toward a crater on the moon's south pole in order to examine the debris that is ejected from the blast. They hope to find out if there is any water ice or vapor on the surface. NASA says the debris plumes will be so large that they should be visible through a mid-sized backyard telescope 10 inches and larger. Oh, and it's costing taxpayers $79 million." camon 233
This obviously is a test funded by the Illuminati to push the moon closer to earth therefore raising sea levels and storms. The resulting ecological disruption will allow them to further justify chem-trails, eugenics, and mass genocide. Edited October 7, 2009 by camon

sharkbit 109
what kind of firepower we talkin' bout here? Is that is a good idea? There's just something about upsetting the whole delicate balance of the moon's orbit that kinda worries me.
camon 233
Given NASA's track record I wouldn't be surprised if it duds.

Paulyski 2,227
Years ago when NASA was preparing for the Apollo Project, the astronauts trained on a Navajo Indian reservation. One day a Navajo elder who spoke only Navajo asked his young English speaking son what the men in the big suits were doing climbing in the rocks. It was explained that they were practicing for a trip to the moon. The elder had this concerned expression on his face, then he told his son to ask one of the astronauts if he, a Navajo elder, might include a message of his own to be delivered to the moon. Recognizing a promotional opportunity, the astronaut said sure. The Navajo elder's subsequent comments into the microphone were surprisingly brief. When the son heard what the message was he smiled but declined to translate it so the NASA people took the tape with them and had it translated by an official government translator. The translator made a face, then out-loud recited the elder's message to the moon: "Watch out for these assholes. They have come to steal your land"

Shandlanos 1,470
What a strange way to report it... Expressed simply and with somewhat less hyperbole: We're crashing a (non-explosive) probe into the moon, relying purely on the kinetic energy of its impact to throw some dust in the air so that the probe directly behind it can examine the resulting plume and tell us what it contains. This is not the first time a man-made probe has been purposefully crashed into the moon.
BronCobraJet 80
OMMG that video was FUNNY! lol. My uncle worked for Boeing Areospace and actually helped put the first monkey into space.
