MINE!   Automag IV .45 Winchester Magnum.   Hard to find, and companion to my Automag III.

Another wheel gun:

Brought home the boys new rifle. Just need to cut the stock down a few inches and slick up the action a bit. Should be fun with some sub sonics.   Can you tell he likes it?

Looks great. That blade looks like it belongs, not like a Frankengun.

Very nice.

..now if I can find the 1911 longslides (yes, I want a couple...one Springfield (stainless) and one IAI...oh.. and the Automag V I've been lusting for...

Why do I always seem to want something I can't find?

It's been a busy month. Pics are to large

WASR UF & reverse dong

M90NP & two M76 grips

SLR-95 & Russian type 3 furniture

My wife's going to blow a gasket

Better to ask forgiveness, than to ask permission.

Cook her a nice dinner, nap through a chick flick and then make her moan like a porn star... All will be cool again.

Or maybe not.

when it comes down to spending  major money I always had a conversation with my wife.

They were not always pleasant  but the subject was out in the open for her to consider my desires.

Most of the time she gave in  because she wanted me to be happy. We never sweat the small stuff if we want something that is not major then okay.

When it comes to the big stuff it's a majority vote or it does not happen.

After turning the key of my vehicle over to the person assuming my duties I started looking for a car. She asked me why? So I tabled it until the real need became apparent .

I think you were being humorous  and  hope you enjoy  all that you got.

In my house what's mine is hers' but then again what's hers' is hers'  also. ha ha.

...and that's what I found out when she ran off with a convicted felon she'd been sneaking around with for years and we divorced. She tried to steal every dime I had.

Nevermore.

Thank God I have a really great attorney...

Don't be. I'm a happy man now. Seriously. Besides, I can stand proud before God secure in the knowledge the I didn't break my vows I made to Him. She can't say that.

...and you should see how fast she's aged since all this started. She looks older than my mother now, all stooped over, with a sickly pallor to her skin. It all comes around.

Oh, and I just bought four more mags, a Super Thumb, some Remington Golden Saber 9mm Luger Ammo 147 Grain Brass Jacketed Hollow Point ammo and a Sticky Holster for my CPX-2.

Life is GOOD!

have not been there for years, does it look good for deer or are you going to build?

I grew up and went to college in St Cloud.  I think we will fly up in August after the doctor releases me, to see my 93 year old mother and my older brother

We will build eventually. For now it onlyhas a new outhouse for the old lady and a 10x16 shed.

It's a great deer setup with a good combination of swamp, pasture & woods. Has two permanent stands over food plots and there are deer and turkey everywhere.

1st firearm in a while...New snake gun and scabbard for the tractor, Mossberg 590 Shockwave, and a few "upgrades" coming. Spotted too many Water moccasins on the property last weekend. Unfortunately, the poisonous ones have to go.

Trench 12.  Looks like a Saiga type AK47 12 gage 12" bbl SBS with pistol grip with a CAR type collapsible stock.  Closer examination shows the "stock" to actually be a well designed ambo HD black arm brace with velcro strap.

Classified a a firearm.  Not a pistol.  Not a rifle.  Not a shotgun.  Not a shotgun pistol.  Not a SBS.  What is it?  A firearm I guess.  The Oregon State Police NICS could not GROK it.  No classification.  They determined a pistol.

All four of the Csspec 12 gage 10 round steel box mags fit with no issues.  Hand racking shows no issues.  Does not feel highly polished.  Weights over 10 pounds loaded.  I will field strip and lube up before firing.  Maybe this weekend.

I will be looking for a top cover with a scope mount or a common rail.  Not for a scope but for a nice bright laser with an accompanying bright flash light.  The firearm will be used as a interior home defense gun.  Today I will be experimenting.

Seems our local gun shop has a Mossberg 930 in stock with a provided double stack 10rd box mag.  The plan is to see if the double stacks will fit the Trench 12.  Probably not.  The double stack is for 2.75" shells only.  We will see.  That is all.

I traded some ammo, plus a bit of horse trading and ended up with reloading supplies and one of these: http://www.nikonsportoptics.com/en/nikon-products/product-archive/riflescopes/p-300-blk-2-7x32-bdc-supersub.html#tab-ProductDetail-ProductTabs-TechSpecs

I've been wanting this scope for a few years, and I really like it. No doubt you can think of a dozen that I would like better, but for what I can get my hands on this is a really good match to my wants.

Got an old Winchester 52 .22 Target rifle made in 1935 from my Stepfather.  Gun shoots great with peep sights but my old eyes can’t do the gun justice so I bought a Unertl 14 power scope to make it look vintage.  Still waiting on new scope blocks because this scope uses the Unertl Posa mounts.  I’m learning a bunch about old rifles and scopes.0E2E29D0-49D1-4547-96C6-328D0A10484E.jpeg.5f0dd0cb8f32bbb912279791ffac2e9a.jpeg

Picked up a bunch of speed loaders, various calibers.

I still need one for my Automag III and IV. I may have to mill that one out of either glass filled nylon or delrin. eta: I made one out of steel yesterday. Works fine. Easier than I thought.

If anyone knows where I can get one for the Automag III/IV...let me know.

I also need an Automag IV magazine.

I had to add these two targets.  I bought a single box of Eley Match .22 ammo for $19.95 to see if I could get better performance at 200 yards.  The left target below was shot with my CZ 455 Tacticool and Nightforce F1 3.5 to 15 scope.  The right target was shot with the Win 52 and Unertl 14 power scope from the previous post.  Black bull is 1” and outer ring is 2.25”.  Not bad for a gun that’s over 80 years old!

I bought a little cellphone to tripod adapter clamp off'n amazon for $7. I had it for a few minutes before I worked out that I can rig it to mount off a tube on my forend and line up with my scope for video. Does that count as a firearm related purchase?
