  1. Move we can always use another gun in the SE Why move, we're winning the fight here. Up to a few years ago EBR's of all types were forbidden, now there's millions of them bought and sold everyday. We have build partys all over the state. The Saiga 12 is illegal......uh nope, we have thousands of those too. Hellraiser called me about this, dude you haven't even seen that damn gun yet and your stressing about it. Everything I told you over the phone was echoed in this thread. Chill out and don't worry about it.
  2. If there is a lawsuit, the fact that the dispatcher told her not to shoot isn't going to help her either. The lawyer for the dirtbag's family will have a feild day with that one. He'll argue that the woman was told the police were there and had the situation under control, when in fact that was not true yet. However, the winner is always the one who stays alive to face the legal system. And I'll bet she is not too worried that she may not see her gun for a while, either. My buddy didn't get his Glock 30 back for 3 years, then he sold it. It's pretty fucking sad to think that a dirtbag h
  3. It's pretty sad to say but that woman will still need a lawyer. She could have wrongful death charges filed against her becasue this state is so ass backwards. I had a freind who shot some douche bag who had leveled an AR15 at him and 2 other coworkers after the guy already shot the place up.(rental shooting range) My freind drew and fired 4 shots hitting the guy 2 times. The perp got 48 years in prison but won 5K do to his injuries. Thank god she killed him and I hope the DA up there can see that she had to eliminate the threat. He made the choice to enter her home, she did the right thing b
  4. It's not hard at all. Having a mill will make the job easier, your gonna hate installing the front latch but it's possible if you use a slave pin and drill straight through the front trunnion.

This is the set up I have on my S 12. I did put a mag pul rail on the handguard, that's how the AFG is attached.

  6. The claw or disconnector? The claw breaks, nothing will happen. The discon breaks, well then replace it or you could end up in a world of shit.
  7. My CA compliant Russian Blue I had to throw in the Made in Russia
  8. Looks kinda like the crap that shoots out of a boil or a cyst. Blood colored puss. I hate using Duracoat, tried it once and never again. Too easy to fuck it up, I'll stick with Moly resin and gun kote.
  9. With a mag lock you can do anything you want short of a folding stock.
  10. You CAN have drums, as long as they are NOT over 10 round capacity. DrGonZo is wrong on the mag capacity portion. There are no magizine capacity restrictions for any fixed mag semi auto shotguns in California. A fixed mag firearm is any equipped with a mag locking device. The AW law CA Penal code 12276 explains what an AW is. There are capacity limits on mag locked pistols, and rifles, but a smooth bore shotgun has no such restriction. 12276.1. (a) Notwithstanding Section 12276, "assault weapon" shall also mean any of the following: (1) A semiautomatic, centerfire rif
  11. What's the key for getting the barrel out without damage? Do I have to machine a special slug that fits the chamber mouth?
  12. 922® is a federal import law and has nothing to do with CA state law. The only thing the CA DOJ will care about is that your pistol has a mag lock. I have built 10+ AK pistols as a builder for a 07 FFL in California, and the only thing we had to do was single shot the guns for transfer and DROS. You can put any muzzle device you like on your AK pistol. With a mag lock installed your pistol can never be an AW per state law. Remove the lock, instant felony, unless you have rendered that gun inoperable.
  13. Try Kroil, thgat shit can bust loose damn near anything short of a weld.
  14. Sac eh? The belly of the beast.
  15. Some type of device that makes removing a mag without a tool impossible. Think of the SKS, you need to drop the trigger pack to remove the mag. Same thing, grab tool, drop mag, GTG. No tool to drop mag, off to San Quinton. Look here: Communist bullshit Yeah but that is the law and we need to comply. Don't worry though, things are changing, and the commies know it. For an AR yes, the AK/ Saiga buttons are totally different animals.
  16. You could hold up the 2 hammers next to each other and remove material until the 2 are the same.
  17. The older locks have bent, don't know if he went to thicker material or a better heat treatment with the metal. Um, yeah. The Saiga has a BHO feature. To the OP, I worked at PRK as a builder. We would see mag locks of all types, some were cheap ass knock off's that were low grade dog food at best. I no longer work at PRK arms and IMHO the PRK lock is the best, with the Assault Planet lock a close second. Oh that whole mag lock shit..............he he he he he he he he........
  18. Saiga rifles are perfectly OK as imported. A converted Saiga will need to have a maglock if you run a pistol grip in CA. All Saiga shotguns must have a maglock to be legally imported into California. There is other grip options that have been developed in CA. If somebody lives in a state that has draconion like laws as we do, you might want to check out calguns.net for info and ideas as to work within the laws of your state and have everything you want. Not true. In CA we have adopted the "Mag Lock" for all of our rifle with evil features. If you have to use a tool to drop the mag
  19. That gas block FSB is for a Krink style gun or AK74U. If you want a FSB/GB you'll need to make it or if you can find it, the STG2000 uses that type of FSGB. The angle of the port is 90degs so whatever parts you find should be the same. There is a way to use that Krink style combo, you'll need to get creative and some machine skills wil be needed. I live in Cali and we can't get SBR stamps so what I would do is make a fake can to take up the room forward of the FSGB that ends right at the muzzle. It's basiclly a threaded sleeve that will screw onto the GB and has the look of a can. You
  20. Document your problem and contact Tapco. Swap that FCG out for another one and send that one into tapco for testing. I'm sure if there is a problem they will want to know before somebody gets into trouble for a MG charge do to a faulty FCG.
  21. Possession of high cap in PRK is not a crime. Possession is 100% legal, the burden of proof is on the DA and the kicker........statute of limitations is 3 years. Any mag can be shipped into California as long as it's not ready for use. Pop the baseplate and remove the spring, then put it all back in the bag and ship. If a DA wants to get ballsey and charge somebody for a crime that doesn't exist, like possession of "large ammo feeding device" CGF will burn them down, and post the video on youtube.
