  1. The 479 will take some quality time with your dremel-fu to fit. I had a thread on here somewhere of what I had to do to make it fit my 308. http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showto...st&p=226486
  2. In the picture of greatmooses rifle, he has a Vulcan dust cover with AR sights installed.
  3. My "blows" comment wasn't directed in your direction. I was looking forward to this and it fell through, there for I vented.
  4. Alright, I took the sight rib off some months ago. Contenplated other sight options. Decided to go back to the rib for the time being and can't for the life of me remember how the small spring in the front reattaches to the turning wheel or the front end. Thanks for the help...
  5. I see big lumber PM'd you. If that's not an "I'll take it." PM. I will.
  6. Perfectly normal, there was video around here with guy shooting a 7.62 with no gas tube on at all, and it still functioned just fine. Not recommended though...
  7. Damn that looks sick!!!!!!!!! Don't understand why you are still using that crappy stock trigger though.
  8. If you change your mind on shipping, I'ld take two. OOPS! SPF
  9. Good catch on the scope touching. If that is your problem, you 'll probably have to trim some of your mount by a inch or two on the rear. Assuming you have proper eye releaf as it sits.

Check out Dinzag's web sight he has a PDF to check out, has all the info needed.
  11. Did you try any shots with the iron sights? You may have to shim the rear of the scope. I would definitly bore sight, at least make sure your scope is level with the barrel
  12. Yep $400 is a good deal (as long as she is in good shape), hop on it...
  13. Yes it will work, but you will need to buy a retainer for the front. Either Tromix or Dinzag offer them.
  14. Sorry to burst your bubble Brian, that was for my 19 incher with rail sight. I paid less for the one you got . That the '01 model you made be pay $300 for? F'n scabber. Actually they don't make 'em like that anymore. That is the most reliable Siaga shotty I own and still my #1 go-to gun...
  15. $300 total with two SA battle packs. I should have stocked up on Saiga's back in the day. Payed $280 shipped for my S12 in '02.
  16. I've done the same as SOPMOD, no flaking what-so-ever.
  17. I can pretty much cycle everything on setting 1. I wouldn't recommend shooting magnums on setting 2, it alows to much inertia on the bolt and carrier thus slamming it into the rear.
