  1. Got 3 from first patch, after changing tin lips to metal. (Came off-Flying shells all over) No problems. 2 from Tromix no malfunctions so far. Fired through Tromix and Cobra conversions. Used Federal trap/target loads and Wolf 00buck.
  2. Been holding off myself. About ordered a 10mm version.
  3. After market kits all seem to be flimsy. Few originals built, yet big bucks. Some out there for Ruger Mini-14/Ranch rifles also. Most get put back in there box and switched back. As others said, not reliable/headaches. Do look kool tho. As most tinkers or fellow members here, have a box or shelf of not quite right stuff, or cheap try it stuff.
  4. Got 3 of first batch from AGP and 2 from Tromix, all functioned fine so far. Have Tromix and Cobra conversions.
  5. Just like it says.. Put one on with thumb safety, took safety out first. Made it easier to get to pistol grip nut.
  6. Have had good service from Freedom Optics, some have used Kalinka (sometimes see items on ebay from them). Check prices, Freedom is located in USA.
  7. Glock 29 with Crimson Trace daily travel. Also have Glock 20. Like, yet 20 is so damn ugly.
  8. Love innovation and drive. Usually purchase, even if not needed, (want tho) to show support.
  9. Unless it's changed. most rural counties don't have any restrictions. Brother lives 5 miles out of Lubbock. County clerk's office should have any info you need. If by chance under a city, check there. Some cities have stretch thier boundries 15 to 20 miles out in order to get tax revenue off new/future development.
  10. Is Tromix out. got to call. Tony was really quick.
  11. That loose star pattern winchester has, does catch almost every time. Same as you, Fed and Rem good for blinking or kickass blastin. Load up Wolf 00 in 10rders to show rookie officer cadets not to get to cockie. Shows a drugged out idiot, or highly motivated criminal can lay out a wall of lead.
  12. AIM, E-mailed yesterday. Ordered the carbine without bayonet lug for $229. Get upto 3 140rd S. African battlepacks for $43 each. Ordered them also. Looks like jungle carbine. They price of S. African if found figured $100 savings on ammo. Got 3 weapons at dealer now waiting on me.
  13. THE HUNTER, Glad you are thinking of this. Many places on web have options. "Modern Survival.net" Especially being a city dweller. Can you even get out in a emergency? Looked at just rush hour mess in most cities. They are screwed. Best to figure on hunker down plan. Myself/family are on farm in a county of 3,000 90 miles from any population over 25,000. Just always have basic survival bag since my job takes me to major cities throughout U.S. Wife calls it "Get Home To Her Bag"
  14. Remember, the vast population is like sheep. Scare easily and are spooked. 5 years ago we were going to fight evil wherever it was found. Now 70% want to quit and stick head in sand. So this makes it easy to be stupid, overreact. Long as it makes them FEEL SAFE and doesn't interfer with their TV shows.
  15. Like'm myself. Got 2 last fall through AIM. Uncle using 1 for coyote gun during calf/lamb season. Got a flyer from AIM that some are offered in jungle conversion.
  16. Doesn't have to be pretty to bang, bang. Ought to be slapped. Great to see people have patience and talent to make work.
  17. Shoot about 500 to 1000rds month. Have had good dealings with surplus ammo.com. James is good guy. Also keeps me supplied in 10mm. Around $95 per 500. My shipping to midwest runs about $15. Brass cased bulk. Been good quality.
  18. Sort of like the movie Lord Of War. Not always the manufacturer, the end seller. Especially in a cash strapped country like Russia.
