  1. If it cycles and it's accurate, when your done cleaning it with the hoppes, then it's clean enough.
  2. Pussy and gunpoweder: live by one, die by the other, love the smell of both!

I concur. Except for dirty strippers. We just had a convrsation about this at the bar. 1 out of 5 guys has had a lap dancce from a stripper who had a rotten snatch. Fact.

  3. Maybe I have an undersized puck, but my gun runs better when the puck is a little dirty. So i dont clean that section of the gas chamber much, just run a brush through it once in a while.
  4. Nice to hear that they'll be availible again, but i doubt we'll ever see sub $500 s12's again

  7. If you use a high temp nickle base, I don't see why not. Just use sparingly. Remeber grease collects grit, you don't want it oozing into your gas chamber cause that'll definately shorten times between cleaning. My philosphy is always: when in doubt lubercate!
  8. I agree with this guy! Without the stock the mag seems like it would be a seriously annoying.
  9. I say build it, you can NEVER have too many tools!
  10. You can find them on gunboroker from time to time. But seriously, who wants to sell something soo much fun?
  11. What magazines have you tried? Do they all do this?
  12. Actually drilling the two rear pins gave me more trouble than the bullet guide. Probably because I didn't use a quality drill bit, or I just don't know how to use a drill. Also, it was the first time I used a tap when I installed the bullet guide, and I did it perfectly the first time. It sounds much harder than it really is. A trick I've used for drilling on round surfaces is to file them flat first, and center punch them. If you don't have a center punch you can use the side of the file to scar a little "X" that will give the bit a place to grab and help keep you on target. ( too litt
  13. If it fits the reciver unmodified, about half as long as it took to take the old one off. But looks a bit flimsey for a 12 ga.
  14. UPDATE!! I recently sent this weapon in to be serviced by Sig because of continued FTF,FTE...seems like an excessive head space issue. I should be reciveing it back some time this week. But since having originally posted this, I've read alot of people claiming the same issue, also that Sig said they "void the warranty if steel cased ammo was used" THATS NOT TRUE! Sig asked me to try several types of ammo before sending it in to service but never said ANYTHING about not using steel they did ask if i could find some brass and try it too. So far they've been more than willing to work with me,
  15. :lolol: :lolol: I'm guessing you read THE REAL ULITMATE POWER: NINJAS! by Robert Hamburger. That was fucking hilarious!
  16. Like spartacus said, spin your gas knob all the way in so it bottoms out, then back it out till it clicks completely in postion 1, thats your default setting. For break in you should use high brass. Most guns about 200 rounds should do it. Then try some low brass, if that gives you trouble, yea go with a booster puck, then try polishing the bolt. If none of those fix it, then you'll have to adress the port issue.(I'm guessing you'll have to do that anyway.) Good luck and welcome!

  19. The KSG looks cool yes it's more compact, but it's going to be slower than the s12, period. It's an apples and organges comparison. Once all the issues are worked out as others have said, it definately has potential to be prominate pump action HD weapon. That said with the option of folding stocks, high capactiy mags (maybe some double stacked 20's in the future, will be a great improvment over the cumberson drum) giving it ability to quickly reload, whats left to compare, price? At $800 MSRP, it doesn't stand a chance unless the ban actualy happens., in that case too bad for the folks who did
  20. You crazy bastards! You'll burn for this! Then take pictures!
  21. Do the polish job, it's easy, it's cheap, and you'll FEEL a diffrence when your done just hand cylcling. The polish and Vplug are the only modifications to my stock s12 and it runs all the wall world and federal you can feed it. If you read the MDArm info on the drum they recommend NOT changing the standard 3 turns because it will be insufficant for heavy loads. You don't really want to have a mag thats only good for light loads, and ones that are only good for high ones do you? I did my initial polish job with just some mill scale jewler files and 180grit sand paper to get it to run the Fed
  22. Recently purchased the .410 Boba had for sale, he shipped it quickly and talked me through all the the correct parts to order from CSS to ensure I got the stuff I needed to Make this gun what I wanted! Thanks. +1
