Pretty boring actually. Today and yesterday was just orientation paperwork (401K, insurance, etc) and stuff at the courthouse. Tomorrow's the first actual day the jail.

Yeah, I've read about some people experiencing problems with weak ammo, due to the double-recoil spring in the Gen4 9mm's. But Glock will replace the spring for free for the newest version if it doesn't already have it. I'm just thinking if I can turn two unused lowers into a Glock 17, then it's a deal in my favor. We'll see.

In NY, we weren't allowed pistol grips on S12's, so I had a Bulgarian thumbhole/skeleton stock on it when I converted it. But then I moved to SC last July and donated that stock to another New Yorker for his S12, and my S12 has since been sitting stockless and gripless in my safe. So I ordered some stuff to install a Magpul MOE stock and grip that I had laying around.
