  1. I got it from WECSOG diploma
  2. Hey, I've got a buddy who used to be a hardcore Satan worshipper. He's about 6'6", weight about 350LBS, long hair, and looks like he hurts people for a living. He got away from it. Now, he's a hardcore Christian, and preaches the Word through "music" He's a performer (I can't bring myself to say singer) in a Christian death metal band. He's a great guy, and he's making a difference. ..as are you.
  3. Dave Moore at Spider Firearms has barrels for the Savage. Savage Lothar Walther Match barrels Dave's a great guy to deal with. He built my .50 for me. I'm sure he can fix you up with a tack-driving barrel for your Savage.
  4. We need a sticky with a parts list and instructions on how to build a Saiganov. I'd like to see the current synthetic Dragunov furniture on it.
  5. Pipe insulation foam will work fine. It's just not as snazzy.
  6. You are indeed worth of the WECSOG diploma! Great lookin' Saiganov! I'll bet it shoots a LOT better than a ROMAK!
  7. Did you honestly expect anything less from F-Troop now that Sullivan is AD? Bunch of JBTs...
  8. The first taker on my offer changed his mind. Anyone else????
  9. Let us know how it turns out. Give us a list of $$ spent, and hours worked to completion. I'm very curious.
  10. I put about 250 rds of various loads through my TROMIX12 before cleaning, and the puck was a bit tough to get past the ring of crud built up in the tube. It never stopped working, even filthy. The loads were Estate Heavy Field, Fed LE buck Fed Red Recoil slugs, Black something or other 3" slugs, Win bulk pack slugs, Wolf 2 3/4" buck (NICE, NASTY load, and CHEAP!!), Rem Mag 4s, some old Fed Heavy Field, and a few handloaded 3" max dram slug loads. This thing is a CANNON!
  11. I put EXTRA long forcing cones in it to reduce the recoil. Wanna shoot it with HEAVY buck? Right trigger first??? Bring a doctor. I only shoot target loads or black powder out of it. Anything heavier and you risk smashing your wrist. 6 dram BP blanks w/a Cream 'O Wheat filler and a heavy newspaper wad on top are just beautiful at night! Can you say HuF'ingMONGOUS FIREBALL, shooting sparks and an truly horrific BOOOOOM!?????
  12. I'll trade my place in line @ Tromix (#291) for one of Mike's drums! PM me.
  13. I'm sure Juggs will do a conversion, that is, if you're not Christian.
  14. No problem, Mike...take as long as you need. Like I tell my people, I'd rather have 5 right than 50 wrong.
  15. I'm glad to see you found a new buddy. She looks like a really nice dog! I'm not very good at saying things sometimes, so I'll just say this. You probably mean as much to her as she will mean to you.
  16. Brownell's has the paint sticks.
  17. If you can't park it, sandblast with white sand, dust/degrease, and spray with a modern coating like AlumahydeII, Duracoat, etc. I've done lots of stuff that way, and it's easy to match the look of parkerizing if that's the look you want.
  18. I've been wanting a couple of 10GA doubles. I want to cut one down into a PG shottie. I already have a 12GA shorty double. THe 10 would be just that little bit extra louder with BP shells.
  19. Speaking o buddies and shaving eyebrows: Here's a tip: NEVER, EVER pass out at your 1st Sgt's house when he's having a party. You MAY just wake up COMPLETELY NAKED, COMPLETELY BALD, and........BLUE. It took the poor guy weeks for the blue cast to leave his skin....even longer for the eyebrows to grow back. Oh, we left a patch several inches wide down his spine free of paint so he wouldn't die of skin suffocation. The Smurf jokes were merciless for EVER! Note: Tempera paint has pigment so fine it gets into the pores and doesn't scrub completely off. I'm glad to
  20. Hey, I DID have my pinky out! Besides, when is it wrong to call a spade a spade?
