  1. Mike loves the Saiga 12, but he runs a business... I'm not worried about it. Jake
  2. Sheeeeit Mike...does this mean you'll soon be driving something nicer than the Beemer bro? Glad to see things going well for you and the company! Jake
  3. Guido is right. The "flight control" wad is good stuff. This is the best stuff out there now...IMHO! Jake
  4. Nate, I'm loving my Full Auto Saiga 12. Beautiful work that runs like a top. Jake
  5. Disconnector Spring is nice to have You'll also want a shepherd's crook or fire control group retaining plate (nicer way to do it!) Jake
  6. MOE is fine if you don't need a QD mounting point. Jake
  7. I bought one while at SHOT on Thursday or Friday for $490. I listed it on GB with a buy it now at $650 + $25 shipping and it sold within minutes. Don't buy one now! Jake

    Uh Oh...

If that is the same woman I saw, she's still there. Jake
  9. Macaholic, That sounds like a neat project. Looking forward to seeing how it progresses. Tom will take good care of you. Re: camera: 1) set camera to VGA resolution so you don't have to convert pictures later. 2) if taking closeups, look for the little "flower" icon and use this setting. 3) use an on-line hosting site to post your pictures (I like hunt101.com) and then link to the pictures from your post. Good luck! Jake
  10. I've always preferred the softish Ergo grips from Falcon. I recently picked up a MD Arms Molot and really am digging it, too. Jake
  11. Mike,

Great to see you and Chuck at the pumpkin shoot! Thanks for the hook up on your great products, too. I appreciate you guys making the trip and it was really fun to hang with you. I'll save my ass whoopin' for you til next time I see you unless you quit that cancer stick habit!

    XOXO, Jake

  12. Promag 12 round drums seem to work well in my S-12. Jake
  13. Tromix and ACE folders are my personal preference. The MagPul Stocks are intriguing on a S12. Haven't tried them yet. Jake
  14. I'm off on the 6th. I'll make my first pit run with the little pal that Nate (gunfixr) made. It showed up the other day and looks great! Jake P.S. What else needs to be brought out?
  15. Juggs, Where's the pumpkin shoot? I'm gonna check my schedule for that one! Jake
  16. Troy Micro Sights... Jake
  17. Good job on looking for training. Too often folks just get the gear and parade around in it. MP Dynamics are where I'd spend the money. Jake
  18. If you want a can for a glock and a rifle, also consider the SWR Trident. Very nice can. Jake
  19. I haven't had any difficulty using the ACE stocks on an S12. I think the ACE stock actually is nice on the face. It would be easy to wrap tennis grip tape or some similar padding onto the stock if you didn't want to spring for the ACE pad. Jake
  20. Unfortunately, the legalities of full auto ownership are tricky. This particular gun is a "Post-86 Sample" and is not available to everyday folks. It can be manufactured by someone like Gunfixr, a FFL/Manufacturer who has paid the "special occupation tax" (SOT), but can only be transferred to other manufacturers/dealers who have paid the SOT (provided they possess a letter requesting a demonstration from a law enforcement agency for that specific firearm) or governmental agencies. There are a number of other "transferrable" machine guns that can be possessed by regular joes after ATF approval.

    It's Alive!

Gunfixr graciously posted this video of a build he did for me...the guy knows his Saigas! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6MmMrVtqZvw The craftsmanship looks fantastic and there are some really neat features. Jake P.S. I like the shirt Nate!
  22. I'd suggest you contact RedJacket. They will make it right (at least that is my experience). Not many pistol grips break that I've heard of. Jake
  23. Thats the plan for me and pretty much everyone who has every owned a Lage upper. Exactly! Lage Mfg's gear is of MUCH higher quality than the other pot-metal crap that came with my gun. If I could stick Mr. Lage in a time machine, I'd have him make my Mac lower, too (and pick me up 4 or 5,000 DIAS' and another 10K of HK sears). Jake
  24. I'm a big fan of the Ergo AK grips. Very nice and comfy. No problems with recoil distribution on my guns. Jake
  25. Very cool videos! Thanks for sharing! Jake
